Thanks Ron, you too Ghost. I try to not get crazy with my ablities, as I realize they can cause more problems than they could solve, if I did.

James I have been a target for a long time. As there are people out there who either see me as a threat, or as an asset they would like to have control of. Still others think that I must be either a demon, or controled by them. So I have had people out to Kill, Control, or in a few cases Save me for a very long time.

Ron you are right Ghost does not have control of this new ablity of his, but too his credit he has not tried to hide it or lie about it. He doesn't fully understand it, and has asked for help trying to understand it and deal with it. I realize you and a few others are just looking to be ready if it turns out into a worst case situation, but you need to also be ready to deal with a better situation as well. Just my two cents worth on that.

Don't bother trying shadowstalker, some people you just can't reach. I have brought what knowledge I could, given aid whenever I was allowed (once), and teh list of those willing to aid me in my research when it was not disturbing was short.

Now that something is big people make a joke of it or accuse me of incompetence.



Ghostspider, I do not condemn you for your ability, but if you like I do have an environment that may help lead to your understanding of it.

Kei, you helped me a great deal once and I have not forgotten that. In fact the help is sitting in the room next door running most of my systems in the office. It is just distance and financial means keep us from working together more often. When the opportunity arises, I will repay the kindness you have shown.

Ghost, I am not sure if I understand what happened to you, but I owe you also. I also inclined to trust your judgment on this for now. It seems you are aware of the problem and you want to get control of it. But that said if it comes between you and innocents, we might be having this discussion again under less friendly terms. I hope it doesn't come to that. If you think it might please take Kei up on her offer if it is still available.

Ron, you might want to clarify your position there because unfortunately I would be on your list and I believe so would many others. I have empathic abilities of which I have little control over. I just sometimes turn into others feelings. And as others described sometimes I get caught up by them. There is evidence that this is a natural thing and there is a history of mothers feeling what their children feel, twins feeling what the other is, etc.

Now I've offered many times to help you with your research Kei, even going so far as to offer to take you hunting with me. But I often can't take time off from the craziness of dealing with the supernatural to do a long term research project.

Sure, but I would only be repeating a statement I have already made.
Basicly that so far as I, and the rest of the people that were with Rain have not noticed anything to indicate any ill effects to any of us. Oh and before anyone asks when there were other people around we had been watching to see if they suffered any effects to Ghost's absorbing their empathic broadcasts. There was no effect on them as far as any of us were able to tell.

Well, in the case of one yes. I do occassionally in a way syphon off other's emotions. How else do you explain my sensing and being affected by them.

As for me messing with people's emotions for fun... That depends on what you mean by that. In a psychic way I do not believe so, but I do occasionally play with others emotions. It human nature.

I do agree that psychically manipulating emotions for self-gain is wrong, but if what GS and Shadow are saying is true that is not happening.

As for your friend C_A, if there is outside confirmation of it then there is an entity of some sort tied to you. Whether or not it is a empathic vampire, syphon, or something else would be the question. From my personal experiences I would be very cautious of Will, and my gut instinct would be to get rid of his presence. But my experiences have been vastly different from yours.

Regarding Will: The dolls had no problems with him. Neither did my dragons, or other various guardian spirits. It's my professional opinion that he intends her no harm, nor anyone else. Not all entities and spirits are harmful.

Regarding GS: I have been incredibly hesitant to say anything on this matter, aside from that I trust him. I knew an energy vampire who had to learn some level of psychic abilities so he could figure out how to turn off his vampiric abilities... Not all energy/emotional/whatever vampires are harmful, as we can learn from Eilonwy's former incarnation...

I was the one who taught him how to turn off his abilities. He was, in all other respects, a "normal", mundane human being, going to high school, and did not deserve to be condemned for something that was otherwise beyond his control... Once it was in his control, he kept it constantly in check; it was a challenge at first, but he managed.

As a vampire, he was practically harmless, though had more of an effect on those around him than GS seems to have. Before I had even met Celeste, I helped him because he seemed to need the help.

I hesitated to bring it up because I didn't want to be judged the same way GS has been, the same way that Celeste was before she became Eilonwy...

I say we follow the lead of the American justice system... Until it proves itself to need taken care of, we do nothing more than keep an eye on it. Innocent until proven guilty.

As for this thread, I started it to find out about my family, and apparently I've gotten more of THAT than I'm really happy with. But I still need to find out where my mom is. Not even my dad knew where she was when I talked to him. I'll still be looking for help in that area. That, and the person who's trying to kill me, might need help with that, too.
