A question to Shang Li....
Just to put my two cents in, I tend to side with Ron on the matter. Even if something like Celeste claims to be in control currently, what is to prevent that control from being lost? How are we to know that the control actually exists? To me it is like playing russian roulette and believing that you will never actually get the bullet.
Has anyone been able to confirm that there is a soul or something different about Celeste that makes her different than other vamps other than her actions?

What -is- a soul? How do you define, a soul?
Answer that truly and completely and you may solve one of the greatest mysteries of science, religion, philosiphy, psychology, and debate all over the world, some would say the universe.

I have said this before that there is something very differant about Celeste from other Vampires! First off is the fact that unlike other vampires she is not evil, now before anyone goes asking I am not takeing her word on this it is something I know. Creatures of Evil particularly Supernatural Evil I can spot or if you will feel a mile away. Celeste does not appear that way to me, as for a soul on that she may or may not have one i can not say without doubt but she has something that makes her seem more like a human than a Vampire. I will try and explain Vampires to me look like darkness a blot if you will that draines the life around them. Celeste however has an aura that is vibrant and complex and does not Drain the space around her. I understand this may not make sense to some of you but let me just say that at present I trust her. As for Bearshamen I have not met him but I am willing to give him the benifit of the doubt.
To find the darkness you have walk in the shadows.
I concurr with Shadowstalker. Things like vampires, and other supernats radiate their nature, be it evil or good. I can even feel it in the words they may write. (Special training there.) I have yet to feel it or see it in Celeste though I have yet to meet her in person. She is neither good nor evil, and by her writtings quite vibrant and complex.
As for what exactly she is... I don't know.

When is a scorpion not a scorpion? When it isn't...
I was asked if I thought she and Bearshaman were evil. I replied then, and it is the same.. for many, evil is a choice. If they are choosing not to be evil, then there is at least something different about them from the other monsters which are by nature, not choice, evil.
I am cautious, but I think there may be some potential for an ending in something other than a beheading.

Shadowstalker, you offer the first bit of evidence that there might be something different about Celeste. I have no desire to kill someone that could be saved. However I will wait until my own talents give me the same impression before I trust fully and let my guard down.

Trust me if I sense something is not as Shadowstalker suggests, I will do what is necessary to ensure my survival.
Besides, I think we are getting a little off of the topic here. Last we heard from bearshaman he was not in the best of situations.

Wild ride, and damn beautiful horses. Didn't realize that the Fae could be so swift on pick-up and delivery. Not used to riding horses, they usually shy away due to my scent, but these babies had no problem letting me get a ride.
Thanks for the assist Shadowstalker, and thank your friends for me as well. Whatever that thing was that was forming in the swamp sure didn't like that elfshot or whatever it was they used on it. If I never hear a howl that wretched agian it will be to soon.
Bert, if the offer stands, will take you up on it, guess I have always relied on natural gifts more than I should.
