Were modern day monoliths built for magical purposes?
I read this one in my morning batch of tabloid articles today, and with this article compunded with other peices I've recently read, this one may be an exaggeration, but deserves some looking into nonetheless…
THE EIFFEL TOWER IS A PORTAL TO HELL!
For generations, Parisians have known that the Eiffel Tower is a portal to hell, and have left unsuspecting tourists prey to Satan's sinister minions who enter our world through a secret trap door under the tower.
"People frequently say they leave the tower changed, and they do. The demons sometimes take people back down with them, but more often they suck their souls and leave the bodies to climb back down in a daze and carry out their evil missions," says Jacques Boudreau, visibly shuddering.
"Parisians have known about the portal for years. Why do you think you don't see Frenchmen up there? We'd just as soon leave the tourists to the demons, especially the Americans."
Witnesses report horrid smells and sordid noises coming from under the tower, but officials have been told to attribute it to traffic noises and poor plumbing in the tower's restaurants. Locals, however, have learned to spot afflicted tourists and avoid them at all costs. "I see a glassy-eyed American come into my bakery, first thing I ask him is if he's been to the Eiffel Tower," says Richard Mouton, a local. "He says yes, I throw him out."
While I doubt the “Portal to hell” bit is real, I’ve had several discussions with people who believe that places like the pyramids and other man made monoliths were built as ways to create and use dimensional portals and other magical feats, but they also believe that the Eiffel Tower is a modern day equivalent erected to create the same results. They also stated other places like the St. Louis Arch was secretly created for magical purposes like portals as well. While I have never visited the Eiffel Tower, I have researched and visited the Arch during a visit to St. Louis. While I’m not a paranormal investigator by any means, I did'nt see anything that seemed suspicious about it. Have any of you got something to add about the Tower, the Arch, or any other modern monoliths that may be more than what it seems?

"Only an idiot doesn't realize what the Gateway Arch was really built for." Bloody Cripes Ron, dont be so dramatic. Back in me visit to the ol' gateway, I didnt see anything that would indicate its more than a gateway to the western frontier (or whatever the bugger its supposed to represent). Just because its got "Gateway" in its title, it dont mean its for magical intentions. Like that bloke Captain Kangaroo? Well, he wasnt a captain anymore than he was a kangaroo now was he? I mean what's in a name these days? Its all about the content, not the bleedin title. But on the other hand, perhaps it is a gateway to another bloody world like this . Anyone ever take a reading or something on the gateway or any one of the many Eiffel bloody towers in the world?

if the Arch is just a building project, then why is St. Louis one of the most haunted cities in America?
