Seeing strange lights...

I am having this problem that is kind of creeping me out. I figured that this would be the best place to look for answers. Okay, sometimes when I look at a person, I can see a strange light coming from them. It is bright white mixed with other colors and kind of glows from the inside. It doesn't happen all the time and I dont know what is going on. My friends dont believe me, and so I can't talk to them about it. If anyone knows what this is, could you please help?

Not that I'm a pasychic or know much about them but it sounds like you're seeing their aura.

Definitely sounds like aura sight, ususally won't happen all the time. With practice you should be able to control it, when to see, when not to. As for the white light, that is usually a sign that the person is a human, the colors will denote various other things, such as health, outlook, psychic ability. If you see someone with a black aura...RUN, DO NOT WALK, DO NOT PASS GO! If its pure black, you are talking major trouble. Have a comrade that is psychic, he wanted me to pass on the information about the black aura. Funny thing, when I asked him about mine, mentioned it was whitish brown. Probably my dual nature.

Are you sure I can control this? I dont even understand it. What exacltly is an Aura, and how come I keep seeing them?

I dont know how I would practice something like this, or if I even want to, it makes me feel weird, and no one will believe it anyways. I wish it all wasn't so confusing.

I'm going to second Bearshaman's welcome to the group, and his warning about black auras. I can't see auras, myself, but I can feel when one is pure white, contains gold, or pure black. (Pure white means a complete innocent, and is almost always only seen in the very young. Gold "flecks" in an aura denotes a pure heart, and the kind of person who has never/will never lie, cheat, steal, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Pure black oftentimes denotes a demonic entity, or a person who has given their soul over to one.)

As for the other colors...I'm not gifted with aura sight, but there are sites on the Net that detail what all the different colors mean. Of course, they usually leave off any info about pure black souls, and souls containing gold.

It simply gives you more information about the world around you. So long as you are rational and reasonable about it, its a very good thing.

This definately sounds like the ability to see auras, or perhaps chi (do you have a martial arts background?).

As for a black aura - 1 of 2 things. 1. either the being is charged with negative chi (this allows him to make attacks on the energies your body uses for function and repair) or 2. the creature has an aura of pure entropy - either way talkin major bad news
