The old quarry

Post by Outlaw »

Well as I said Wednesday night I headed to the old quarry to see if anything weird was going on. Man is that an understatement for what I found, seems the good sheriff was the reason for the kids vanishing. He had a Dybbuk (or how ever it's spelled) egging him on in some ritual to open a gate to a lower plane or some shit. The sheriff was about as competent as I would be doing brain surgery to save some one.

The Dybbuk charged me when I threw a rock to bean old law an order between the eyes, we went round and round for a few. I started to realize this thing was good, about the time I went to pull my knife I heard five soft pops. The Dybbuk screamed and clutched at a bloodied face and lunged by me, I planted the blade in it's side to remind it we were not through yet. When I got spun to face the way it lunged there was my blushing bride, wearing full combat armor and several guns, one in hand. She calmly pulled a sawed off shot gun from it's rest position and unloaded five more rounds when she was sure it was clear to fire. I began hacking at the thing between rounds of fire. The sheriff took a shot at us at one point and my gal popped him for it, we had a hell of a night celebrating as newly weds are known to do. I still have not got her to talk more than some basics about her experience in this mess.

I'll post more later I am being ordered to bed. Damn woman.

She popped him with a bean bag round, nothing lethal. She has a pal in the state troopers who came out and took care of the bastard on the evidence of having abducted and killed three kids and attempt on a fourth. Seems there are some advantages to having cops as pals.
