I would welcome you officially, but I have always been a guest, here. An outsider who does not even seek to get in. Victor Lazlo's teachings are commendable, but for one, I am no longer even of your plane. For two, I am not exactly what you call a "nice guy". For three, I could be considered one of the Night Things that many people here hunt down.

Might I suggest you feel free to look around, and directly contact those who are looking for workers, instead of waiting for the work to come to you. This isn't a criticism against you; it's an honest suggestion.

I might also be interested in hiring you, if you are capable of moving between dimensions, and are also capable of performing a marriage ceremony. It need not be a traditional ceremony, but my lady fair and I do wish to be wed...

Thanks, hopefully the drama is going to fade away like a morning fog around here. I'll look around and am reaching out to more people so I don't stick out like a blue glowstick in a subterranean cavern filled with mole men. I might be able to go from one place to the next, but I'm not capable of marrying you unless I get my own ship and become a captain. Sorry.

Just curious, really. I'm not sure how much I'm willing to risk just to get my hands on these ships, but if I were to...

Gabe, a ship's captain can marry people. I'm not a captain, so I can't legally marry anyone. And no offense, but I like doing a little background check on people before I become the guy binding two lives and souls together for all eternity, or at least until it's time to remind the partner about the prenup.

Her name is currently Deathkiss, and she was once a sword... Through the properties of this plane, however, she has a...rather different form, now. She is intelligent and patient, though she knows when to fight, and how...

She has made all these months in Hell...interesting, to say the very least.

Wait.. you mean, Deathkiss the Demon Sword? An...associate of mine mentioned it...her once before. This is interesting. After hearing about the nature of its unions, I might be able to help, but I'll need more info. How did you get in hell? Are you...a native? And which of the nether planes are we talking? I know Hades and Dyval aren't exactly tourist destinations right now.

Rest easy. I am not in any of the "official" planes of Hell, but an astral domain... An annex of one or the other, or the product of a completely deranged mind. Whatever the case, there are demons here, monsters we find on Earth, monsters we don't find on Earth, and native inhabitants that cannot die, no matter how many times the creatures here feast on their bones. If I weren't in constant control, here, I would not recommend following my footsteps.

As to how I came to be here...I no longer remember, or care. I am here now, and I have no intentions of leaving.

I see. I'm familiar with the Astral plane, the time dilation between realities has actually helped out other friends of mine in getting things done in small amounts of time.

Look, I can't make any promises, but I have an old friend that is not only familiar with the Astral plane and its dangers, but is ordained by the church. I think he could perform the ceremony if I got a hold of him and brought me there. If you need references, ask about the One Who Sleeps and the recent war of the Necrophim led by Vodsoli. Cesar's the one who stopped Vodsoli cold.

I never said I wasn't interested, I was simply being cautious. I don't like going into any situation half cocked and without all the intel I can get. I needed to know about you, her, your situation. I wasn't about to unleash some potential plague in reality if you two had a tiff, that wouldn't be responsible. As for why...let's just say I know all too well what it's like to be alone in your current life. What you two have may be...unorthadox compared to what I'm used to. But if you two are genuinely happy? If you are two souls that found one another, accept each other and wish to share that love with each other for as long as you can? Well, I'd be a hypocrite if I denied someone else the kind of happiness I hope to find one day.

Don't get sappy on me, I'm not all just about killing monsters you know.

Azrael, you are a fine and powerful warrior, and a man of honor. I love you still for those reasons and more...but the request to have us wed was not a joke. Gabriel and I have gone through more hard times in the first few weeks I was here than you and I ever did, Azrael. You treated me well, Azrael, but I was always a tool to you, a weapon you used to strike down your enemies.

Azrael... You do not need me. At the very least, you do not need me more than Gabriel does, nor as much as I need Gabriel. I am not just a sword anymore. I can, for the first time, make my own decisions, do things for myself, and go in my own direction. I may even change my name; for one, Deathkiss is a name befitting a blade, but not so much a lady...and for two, Gabriel has said that, for some reason that he won't divulge to me, hearing "Lady" and "Deathkiss" in the same breath causes him to want to beat his head into a wall...

Azrael, I do still love you for the warrior I know you are... You will continue to be a fine warrior without me, though.

For from now on, I am no man's tool...no man's weapon...no man's property.

In my travels, I've actually came across lore referencing a runic weapon by the name of 'Deathkiss' and it suggests a demonic origin. Although, given that point, I suppose I can understand either not wanting to repeat it or remember it.

Will you be getting an account here of your own?

I do not even recall a time when I remember being aught but a sword... Perhaps there was a time when I actively tried to remember--or forget--such a time, but as of now, I do not.

Call me Mr. Blake or Paul. Reckoner's good for promotions and a name for my enemies to call me when they're cursing me. Well, if you're interested in going and performing the service, it'd make it easier than tracking down my other friend who's quite busy at the moment. I have no problem escorting you, and payment for safe passage would be what you would deem appropriate. I've worked with a child of Amaterasu before, I'm proud to have fought alongside him. Also, Natsu Yuki was instrumental in guiding me early on in my career. It'd be my pleasure to help, maybe I can say hi to one of them while I'm on my way? Cesar Cross is a warrior raised in the traditions of the Knights Templar. While not a priest, he is an ordained minister and a believer in the Judeo-Christian path. I'll try to get a hold of him, but he has his hands full at the moment. I'll see what I can do.
