It's these sorts of things I just can't deal with. Give me a monster to hunt down and stop, sure. Figure out if there's a ghost aroudnand convince it to move on to the next realm . . . might as well ask me to wait in the car.

Things like what he is describing can be difficult for even people with the right gifts to handle. What brings them there can be varied as can the solution they seek.

Hi DarKnyht,
There's an old belief that for a man to see his bride in her wedding dress before the wedding means an unhappy ending. I think this case may have provided the proof.

PS: It is a horrible thing that happened to that young woman, and I'm not trying to make light of it. I just thought that maybe there's a reason for the superstition. Maybe there is something that targets such occurances.

I will be who I chose to be.

In the effort of some comfort to consider, its said that these spirits will eventually find rest as those who remember them in life find their peace as well.
The Policeman said the officers involved are still having a rouggh time and I can only imagine the people involved are just as haunted. Its not a hard stretch to think that this collective pain and guilt is what's keeping her spirit pinned to that area.

"Truth is stranger than fiction, and much more terrifying."
Could be real, could be fake
A very sad story—but is it true? The tale is vague and contradicts itself—“ One particularly tragic accident a few years ago . . .” and “It was an exceptionally warm Saturday night in late October many years ago” the very next sentence.
However, it’s not uncommon for witnesses to contradict each other.
