The Curse of the Crying Boy

Today's search turned up a story in the ForteanTimes about a cursed picture that causes houses to burn down while being left untouched hanging within the devastation. Apparently the urban legends is that the painter made a deal with the devil and the fires are him collecting his payment.

Pretty ugly painting really, not sure what th artist was thinking he was getting out of the deal.

Well, apparently the ability to sell the ugly things. There definitely was something supernatural at work if he managed to move multiple copies of that picture.
