I have joined in the efforts to wipe out an inhuman threat, an entity that feeds on those who follow it and those who oppose it... A creature that fools those that follow it into thinking that those who don't are a danger to it. A monster that destroys people on every level imaginable before it is finished with them, and sometimes it continues to predate and destroy.
I have joined in the effort to take it down in secret... It isn't as thrilling as some of the other war stories around here, but it is an ongoing fight.
Before I tell it, though, I would appreciate if everyone removes all reference to my last name from the site, for the safety of myself and my family...

I want to thank everyone for removing my last name from the boards. I also want to apologize for taking so long to get back to this. Some of you may think I've been misleading by saying what I said before, once you find out what I've taken up fighting against...
You can find the monster here. It is not the religion I am fighting; that's a harmless set of beliefs that are, at its lowest levels, a guided self-help group, and at its highest level, a cheap, bad sci-fi story.
It is the dangerous cult that claims exclusive rights to those religious beliefs that I have taken to fighting. This cult destroys its own members on every conceivable level: first financially, then socially, then spiritually, and finally, physically. Not all of its members fall victim thus; many aren't destroyed physically, but there are plenty of those that have been.
The cult doesn't attack and destroy only those from within, either... I will post this in Conspiracy Theories shortly, so the story itself is posted, rather than just the link. Suffice to say that when an avid opponent of the cult suddenly commits suicide in this particular manner, especially when the cult has so many mysterious deaths on its hands, a "suicide" like this one seems far more sinister than they're playing it out to be.
So while some of you may say that I was misleading, believe me when I say that I have taken up a fight against a vampiric beast that drains away the life-forces of its followers and enemies alike.
Once the websites pertaining to the fight against this beast are active, I will inform everyone about it. Currently, the site is down, probably due to hacking. The next strike will be on March 15... After that, I've heard April 20, but haven't seen verification for that as of yet.
By the way, for all of you who want the Society to seem legitimate to outsiders, this is your chance. I've thought for a long time that if the Society were to get involved in public activities such as these protests, you would get more attention.

I haven't given up on this... Y'all have such awesome cult-busting stories. Y'all get the instant gratification of saying you saved X number of lives when you stopped the cults from sacrificing them to some dark god or other. Even when I was at full strength, before, I could never have pulled off some of the things y'all did... This is my turn. It won't be as glorious as your stories have been. It won't be as dangerous (hopefully). I won't be as directly responsible for saving lives, but with y'all doing your parts, I can't sit idly by while some group victimizes and devours its enemies, allies, and its own members at once.
Just a quick update... The police are getting more hostile. Before March 15, protesters across the country were told they wouldn't need a permit to protest... On that date, police at several sites threatened to arrest protesters for protesting without one. In Atlanta, police showed up in full riot gear right after protest organizers gave the morning speech, and arrested two protesters for noise violations. Their identities were made public, and in the wake of the protest, the Co$ started pulling one of their standard activities called "dead agenting"--Co$ members went through the neighborhoods of the arrested, telling their neighbors and family members that the arrested were guilty of child molestation, sexual assault, and other BS charges.
In retaliation, the protesting group began a "live agenting" scheme--going through the same neighborhood and warning friends and neighbors of what the Co$ was doing, and not to believe them.
Also in Atlanta, the riot-gear police were pulling over and ticketing people for honking, flashing lights, or slowing down to look at the protesters' signs. Sign-bearers were quick to make "DO NOT HONK" signs, and had them posted at either end of the area. The protesters think this heavy-handedness brought as much awareness to the public than the protest itself did.
