Cryptozoology-- recent discoveries

Although the following link will not take you to some of the more bizarre animals that have been found underwater, it does give you an idea of what is yet to be discovered. Over 70% of our planet is covered with water. It has even been suggested that intelligent underwater creatures may be living at the bottom of the ocean and we are totally unaware of them.

Personally, I think we're already well aware of several water-based sentients - the dolphin and whale families. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just as smart as humans, just with much different thought processes. Of course, that means that they may have their own demons to deal with.

Can't say I care too much about the cryptids . . . except when they come huntin' for us. 'tillt hen I think this is soemthing the science geeks are best to investigate (at least once they get off their collective arses).
Ain't nuthin' that can't die.
