Ecclesia has been beaten, but it will return! Take Heed!

Post by Pastor Greed »

Hello, my name is Pastor Clarence Greed. As Dr. Kane has mentioned, He referred me to this site as the demon known as Ecclesia has made a presence on the society. I have had many professions over the years, but currently I would call myself a wandering healer and exorcist. But by title I am an ordained minister and a specialist in occult phenomenon. In recent years however, I had become one of the few individuals who are aware of the being known as Ecclesia and what it is and have helped in systemically tracked the demon wherever find him. However, with his increase in activities in the last few decades and the advent of the information age and the Internet, its time to share this knowledge with those who could help.

Ecclesia has been "a disturbance" since the dawn of man. The order I was once a part of (who had expelled me due to my open decision to share this knowledge publicly.) can trace its activities to Ancient Khem or "The Black Land", which is known today as Egypt.

The order (which shall remain anonymous for their protection) has been hunting and either exorcising of slaying his vessels wherever they’re found. I too followed this calling, but I know now that our efforts are no longer enough. His activities have become too numerous and widespread for the order to be effective, and a new larger frontline needs to be formed.

My information is now limited as the order has confiscated all the belongings and texts they once armed me with, but I will tell you what I know. From what the records and texts stated, Ecclesia is a possessing Demon in every sense of the term. Its preference of possession is people in powerful religious positions, but has been known to possess ordinary men, women and children, or those who had a special talent he wanted for a particular purpose.

His methods and reasons vary, but his results are always malice. His moods seem to change with the tide, and at times he’s nothing more than a prankster, other times he has displayed such terribly evil and vicious acts that even the devil himself could sit back and admire his work.

Again, his methods are entirely enforced through possession of his victims. However, one of his known weaknesses is that he cannot forcefully posses a being; they have to willingly accept his presence to overtake their body. This is one reason he enjoys possessing spiritual leaders (particularly those of Christian denomination). He tends to create an illusion of an angel to his intended possessor, and usually tells a story of how “god needs your help to carry a message, would you wish to be the deliverer?” or something similar. Those who “accept” the blessing find their bodies and minds overwhelmed and becomes yet another toy to Ecclesia’s whims.

What’s worse is that once Ecclesia has possessed a body, he begins to attain supernatural abilities and the texts have read that he has powers that have ranged from telekinesis to powers of controlling and casting fire. His abilities seem change with each individually possession, and its unknown whether they form at random or with purpose. His vessels also gains supernatural attributes like strength, endurance and can withstand an amazing amount of damage. Many normal weapons have minimal effects upon it.

Its best-known weaknesses are as follows:

1. Iron Weapons: sharp weapons made of pure Iron have proven to have better effects than other conventional weapons.
2. Vinegar: Strangely enough Ecclesia absolutely hates the smell of vinegar. Carrying it in bottles, flasks or canteens can be used defensively when directly attacked. Or if you suspect Ecclesia is trying to possess someone or yourself, having a bowl of vinegar near the intended victim has proven to keep him away.
3. Magic and Psychic protection: For those who know protection spells and wards will be protected while within it from being possessed. Certain psionics and magic abilities like exorcism and Sensing Evil have been know to have an effect as well.
4. Rejecting its “Gifts”: Again, Ecclesia CANNOT forcefully possess anyone; you have to let him in. He’s a poet with words however and can come up with very convincing methods that would make one wish for his “gifts”. It will offer you the potential for revenge, power, wisdom, whatever it is you may have a desire for. Nothing is sacred to this demon, so any bit of useful personal information or hint of weakness and Ecclesia will exploit it.

I wish I could provide more in how to locate him, but unfortunalty unless you have a magical or psychic way to track demons, your limited to following hunches and calling him out. Ecclesia loves attention and usually is pretty brazen in whatever he does. His capture of Louis and the game he tried to play on this post is classic Ecclesia.

If there are any other specific questions about Ecclesia, feel free to post. I intend to keep an eye on the Society awhile in case he resurfaces, and I’ll answer as best as I can. Take care and god bless.

I'll confirm a weakness to sharp iron objects.

I guess I'll start working on a vinegar delivery system.

I have a friend who can provide DMSO gel-tip rounds. Suspend any liquid medium you want in it. I have used holy water, a garlic-water solution, and several grades of light to heavy tranqs. I'll connect you with him if you want.

But Lucas, Im not entirely sure that "Vinegar Bullets" would really be effective (much less using supersoakers the same way you'd use holy water on vampires.) Paster Greed said that the smell is what bothers him, not spraying it on him. I think the good Pastor needs to specify a bit more on this one.

I was thinking something more like a muzzle blast aerosol - much the same way tear gas and pepper spray shotgun rounds work. It would quickly flood the area with vinegar vapour.

Considering I'm about the only one left from that little adventure, I somehow think this warning did us little good.
