Every city has its haunted locales and legends. On the same level, you could take a look at the estimated body count shortly after the disaster; "thousands", the media kept saying. Afterward, the official deathtoll topped only a few hundred, but the "missing" list is a rather long one.

I've got a network of contacts, but I work alone, myself. To boot, I don't have a happy amount of ordinance to back me up, even when there have been times I needed a good explosion. Still, it's nice living a block away from a gun store...

Well, if we're lucky by Darwin's standards, maybe the expedition will find a tear in time-space and fall into a demon infested Hell.

Or the aliens abduct them. Either way, good times had by all.

An interesting tid-bit I've picked up from Hebrew lore involved writing the word "Truth" on a golem's forehead to activate it (in Hebrew, of course). Scratch out one line in the text and it becomes "Death", turning the golem lifeless. Of course, this is something straight out of the back shelves of ...

Right. That little ordeal took a while. Rather difficult to clean out an infestation without blowing up a public cemetary, so I took the time to locate a fellow who specializes in exorcisms. Turns out there wasn't any necromancy at all. Just a whole mess of entities of some kind (of which I'm highly...

Sorry about the delays there. Had to take some time to...relocate due to some other matters. Anyway, there are plenty of dug-up graves. The county is severely lax on proper burial, so it's common for animals and natural circumstances to shed some light on the post-humous. I don't regularly go skulki...

Necromancer?

I've picked up a few reports in my neck of the woods about zombies, walking skeletons, and whatever else that crawled out of a bad horror movie. Being not a complete expert on the arcane, I can only begin to guess what's behind it, but does anyone have any information on necromancy and what not?

This might sound a little unprofessional, but have you considered just burning the place down? As long as nobody alive/sentient/corporeal is inside, it can solve a lot of problems.

Vampires, again? My own hometown is relatively vamp free, except for the wannabes, because of the sheer number of Jesus freaks. Kinda hard to prowl around when there's a cross hanging from every neck or casting a shadow on the street. Of course, one of my contacts claims she can import some gear and...

Cult of Night? I've lost count how many cults have had that name in the course of history. As if some of our jobs weren't hard enough without trying to keep track of "who's who" in backwater religions... Right. 'Nuff said. Don'cha just love it when they come back all vamped up and happy to see ya? A little heavy on the martial arts and bullet dodging. So the cult has done this sort of thing before? Now that's quite odd, really. You'd think after the first time of killing off all their worshipers and then burning down the evidence, it'd be a might difficult to pass on "the ways of the cloth." Leaves one to wonder what kind of influence can recreat...
