An odd demon

I was recently accosted by some odd form of demon, or some form of not quite fallen angel, althou I lean toward the former at the moment.

Black feathered tattered wings, red irises, black body armor of a sort way too familiar to me, and lines on his face that look like the lines on my last controller's when I was working for uncle sam, you know the kind of face that has been mad so long they get scowl lines, and forget how to smile.

Anyway rather than coming straight to his deat like most of the Ba'Al's pet killers this one took the time to talk. I heard the thing out while I lured it into a back ally away from the more crowded city streets.

During our short conversation I was convinced that this was no pet of the Ba'Al, and since I didn't go out armed for demons, and didn't want to just blow it up, as explosives used without planning and set up time cause more damage to "collateral targets" than the actual target (why I don't use bombs, they are indescriminate) I managed to escape the scene, somewhat shaken.

I am actually hoping for a repeat visit from this one as it offered me a certain service that I would greatly apreciate. Due to the nature of our conversation, I am fairly certain that it is associated with someone here.

Well whoever the demonologist is, drop me a line, your minion and I have unfinished business, although next time try sending it to intercept meat a less public place.

Oh, and as for "the shelless turtle", you are still on borrowed time, that is of course unless you demonologist's pet can carry out one of two offers. (either gets you off the hook, but I ain't dyin anytime soon)

Anyway, anyone know anything about this fallen one? He doesn't quite match any of the majors that I know of, and only the strongest of the loosers of that war got to keep anything close to their original appearance.

Never come across one of those.

I hate the ones that look worse than they are.

Hmm. I may have heard of something like what he is talking about, but I can't be sure?
If it is what I think it is, I have a hard time thinking someone from here would have called it up?
Foe one thing they are normally kind of evil, thou there are a few tales of some of them being good guys or at least very honorable in there dealing.
The other thing is they are very powerful, and not something you call up for the heck of it.
But like I said this is only a guess, and I may be wrong.

Well, it either came from here or someone else with a vested interest in Mr. Murray's continued health.

I don't scare that easy, and either your demon betrayed you, or it is more reasonable than you are. Either way if it does it's part, you may be off the hook. If it tries to kill me, well I don't die that easy, hope it wasn't a friend that summoned it for you, the sacrafices to bring a feathered demon that looks that close to human are severe, and the penalties for letting one of those ones get dead while it serves you is normally even more severe.

"Even though I walk through the dark shadows of death, because you are with me, I fear no harm. Your rod and your staff give me courage."

Of the members of this Society I think I can safely say I am probably one of only about 4 who could summon such a demon. And I sure as hell would not summon such a thing to deal with you Mr. Sheldon, I can deal with you myself if it came to that. I belive maybe your contracted boss sent it to speed you up.

I have an idea to try out to get you out of the contract you are in. PM me if you are interested and have a copy of the contract please.

Under the terms of my contract I am not allowed to knowing promote the breach of said contract, nor can I request assistance in such endeavors. At least one of the minions that came to "remind" me of that clause spilled something else, I don't have to attempt to prevent such an event, I just can do nothing to reccomend or request such.

Although, teh non hostility clause only lasts for 2 years after completion, I think in about 730 days there will be a major change in that relationship...

Oh goody, a game of hide and go seek.

We love to play hide and go seek.

He's not going to help us, he is enjoying this game way to much.

Piss off beast, you are exactly the sort of thing I prefer to hunt, think I would do you for free, if anyone ever gets you outta your current vic.

As i said the terms of the contract were quite clear and concise, I cannot request, nor assist with, nor reccomend the breaking of the contract. I do not however, have to lift a finger to stop anyone who is undertaking such an action, it's not in the contract.

Anyway beast, you want to play hide and seek? I am going to be playing the game with some lycans in the barrens, this is an old one and personal, now if you want to play, come on down, I'll keep a minnie ball on hand just for you.

Girly, you can only pull an old dog's chain so hard before he snaps atcha, and I am tired of his type coming to our world and trying to take over, I am tired of having to watch beasts like him ruin a good man's life, I am tired of watching while a beast devours a man from the inside out. And I am DAMN sure not going to sit here and let the like of that....thing insult me. Someone kick that thing out of it's victim so I can kill it.

Tell you what, if you can think of a damn good way to separate the two, let us all know. Otherwise, it's nothing everyone else hasn't already said about him.

And who are you to call me girly, anyway?

Why are you so angry at us Thomas Sheldon? We have done you no ill. We only stated what we knew.

We must ask about all this talk of seperation? We know that it refers to us, but why do we need to be seperated?

I suggest you show you mean this with the good man's life you intend to ruin first - then we might actually care about what you have to say.

Well berty boy chose to not co-operate, at least whoever sent the demon is a fool who got betrayed by his pet, or is trying to resolve this situation in a more preferable manner. Wish I was able to be of more help, but I kind of have to stay on the job unless the contract is somehow broken by my client. Oh well, shit happens.... at least it normally all works out in the end. I have made my peace on this earth, and am ready to be sent to a well deserved cookout where I am going to be the dish of honor - but at least my kids and grandkids got to grow up without having to worry about nasties trying to take over the world every week.

Getting Back on track for a moment a strange thought came to me, about who may have sent the Quote "Odd Demon" Sheldon was talking about, or maybe who it was.
I won't say more until I check on somethings first.
