My research here in Pittsburgh is going slow. Terra has gotten frustrated with it and decided to take off on her own. She did do me one huge favor though before leaving.
She apparently got an idea for one of her devices by seeing my mind blast in action. She believed that she could build a device that would let her duplicate the effect in a way and let me have some control over it. To do this she took my pistol and put some wiring and electronics into and through it.
With it, I am able to focus my power through the gun to create mental blasts. It is a very draining experience, but it is letting me get 3 or 4 shots instead of the usual one blast. So far, I am able to get the focus to accomplish this about 75-85% of the time. She told me that she believes that eventually I will be able to do the same thing without her modifications. This is the first time I feel like I will be able to have enough firepower to deal with some of the things I have been coming across.
I hope she has luck in finding her son. I think she will be able to take care of herself, as she made herself one of the pistols. Plus she had a couple of other devices she had build before.
