Since you all have been asking . . .

Post by Ron Caliburn »

It seems like most of you were expecting some tale of how I wound up nearly killed or something this past Friday the 13th.

Fortunately, I don't have one.

On the other hand, I did run into a black cat and lost a priceless treasure.

But, given the smiles on my girls' faces told me it wasn't entirely a bad thing.

No Dad, it wasn't a bad thing at all.

In fact, it was a very good thing.

I'm sure your sister and step mother won't let that be an option.

Matthew has gotten me watching old episodes of the A-Team for ideas about how to get Papa on an aircraft.

Also, I am very happy with how last Friday the 13th turned out. And there is some symmetry to it, if you think about it. A sign of things coming full circle.

I have been led to believe that I may have a new applicant student petitioning me to teach them what I know about sword craft. Well, I've taught a baboon the intricacies of Japanese tea ceremony. Hell, I've even taught Mel how to swing a sword so that she doesn't look entirely clumsy. I guess maybe I can teach a cat basic etiquette. But only once I'm convinced that the desire to learn is sincere and the effort put into will be genuine.

P.S. See you all at the wedding in New Zealand.

P.P.S. Someone is being clever.

Wow, I have been gone too long. I've totally lost track of who is doing what with who, and why, and what for.
