Don't Forget the Winter Solstice, December 22!

Post by RJM-84 »

Remember, ladies and gentlemen, December 22 is the Winter Solstice. Reports of paranormal activity always escalate around the Soltices and Equinoxes, so stay on your toes. Make note of anything unusual, and don't hesitate to let us at the Agency know about anything extremely strange in your area. Being a busy time, Agency resources will be stretched pretty thin, so there may be some delay in processing all reports. Your patience is appreciated.

Yeah, and reports of an increase in alcohol consumption also spike around all of the major holidays. Spirits abound all right, and they come in bottles and cans.

The solstace actually passed very quietly here in RavenRoost...

Though, we had just had to go hunting for a vampire squirrel on the local ski slope a few days before hand...

That must have taken a very small stake
I've been out of touch with the society for the past few days because I had to deal with an unpleasant vampire situation in San Francisco...It really wasn't pretty...

Nanook managed to catch the thing while wearing a chain mail butcher's glove, and yes, it was a small stake, and the damn thing kept wriggling...I actually stabbed Nanook more often than the squirrel, but it finally died...

Little bugger!

Hopefully Hit Squirrel won't read up on this one.

Curious, I thought only humans could be turned.
Ain't nuthin' that can't die.
