A Special Assignment

"Hello to all out there, and please forgive the forwardness of this message, but you see I am in need of some special, talented individuals to do a particular task. I cannot tell you all of the details yet, but here is what I can share with you.

Apparently, there are some rumors and allegations that the Bermuda Triangle is changing shape, and that the nature of the Triangle itself might be warping as well. For my own personal security I cannot share with you my source material, but I believe it to be truthful. What I need is a first hand account from willing travelers to go to the Bermuda Triangle, report what they see that answer the following questions conclusively or not:

*Is the Bermuda Triangle changing shape?
*Is the Bermuda Triangle real?
*Is the Bermuda Triangle more supernatural that is has ever been?

I also have a fourth special task, that will take you to the island of Bimini. Those that decide to take this expedition will be given further instructions on what is required while on Bimini Island.

I do not want to drag this message out too long, but you will be accompanied by two specialists in the history of the Bermuda Triangle, a Dr. Julian Hammerstein from the New York Parapsychogy Institute and college instructor Professor Ali Ufuk. An ability to get along with both men would be most advantageous to this endeavor.

Thank you all for reading, I look forward to hearing back from a few of you."

I would be interested, who wouldn't want to go down there and play make believe a while in the sun.

Nevertheless, I remember reading here that Scotty and Ali get along well.
Or at least they did once upon a time.
Perhaps you could PM Scotty just to make sure he's paying attention.
He could probably use the vacation.

It seems that jobs in warm parts of the world are just popping out of the damn wood work now.

The world hates me.

"I'd need to know your qualifications for such an endeavor. As much enjoyment as being in the Caribbean is, this would be a job, and an important one at that. Plus I pay pretty well too."

Scotty is a little rough around the edges but a good guy. If you need a hard worker, I would definitely recommend him, being perfectly honest with you.

What will you call the Bermuda if it’s not a triangle anymor

_____Hi, Mr. Mephisto. I don’t think I would qualify. I’m just a girl.
_____P.S. What will you call the Bermuda Triangle if it’s not a Triangle anymore?

Mephisto, my preparations are complete. I am bringing both translations of the sea journal. We can leave whenever you have assembled your team. Someone with navigational experience would also be helpful, but perhaps we were thinking of hiring a local for that task.

Scotty, it will be good to see you again, my friend. I brings me joy to know that I can finally begin repaying the kindness that you have shown me.

I do not discriminate on gender, only on qualifications for such an endeavor. Ideally a background in psychic phenomenon, magic, nautical experience or any combination would be beneficial. And I think it would be called the Devils Playground if it is confirmed to be changing and still supernatural.

"If the Professor can vouch for you that is all that is required of me. I will be hiring a local ship and captain, would prefer some experience in dealing with psychic or magical phenomenon. Remember this is the Bermuda Triangle, so quick wits would be helpful as well."

I'd like at least four people to accompany Professor Ali Ufuk and Dr Hammerstein on this expedition. Dr Hammerstein can be difficult to work with but he is also quite knowledgeable about the Triangle and especially Bimini Island.

I am working for the next week, but after that I am free. When are all you people looking to leave? I have a pretty decent background in the hard sciences and have experience on the water.

_____Hi, Mr. Mephisto. I don’t have qualifications. I just like to help people. It sounds like fun to go to an island and I’d like to, but I’m not sure that’s a qualification.
_____P.S. Sometimes I have visions, though. Is that a qualification?

"That might come in handy on this journey. If nothing else simply being able to be a first person witness for Dr Hammerstein and Professor Ali would be a useful endeavor."

"We'll be leaving port next week from Long Beach in Florida. Although the captain has been instructed to provide reasonable equipment, I would prefer if you supplied your own cameras and recording devices. Dr Hammerstein will be the last to arrive, as he is a very busy man and had to take time off on short notice for this assignment. This time was also selected because the risk of storms and hurricanes is very minimal at the moment."

"I'm still looking for more adventurers to join Dr. Hammerstein and Professor Ali on this expedition. The ship will be leaving next week. Come with recording, tracking and sensing equipment as it will not be provided by the Captain. It will be leaving Long Beach, Florida next weekend. I will issue you all a card to cash advance any expenses to the Captain upon arrival. This is not a prank if you are worried it might be a con."

I got my documents squared away for legally traveling anywhere we would go in that part of the world. Contact me if you'd like to screen me. I'm definitely interested in going on to Bimini Island as well.

I wouldn't go if I were you Nat. That Bermuda Triangle place has a pretty strange reputation. We may never see you again.

Besides, we need all the girs around here we can get to keep these fellas in line.

I'm a lorist, researcher, and analyst in the paranormal and supernatural by trade, a diabolist by birth. I've done field work across the entire operational spectrum. I'm told that my attention to detail, work ethic, and tenacity to complete something that I begin is "beyond impressive".

I'm also procuring some state of the art tech that I would love to use on such an assignment.

I'm PM you a contact number if you have further questions.

Well everyone, the ship has been chartered, so I'd like everyone to make their way down to Long Beach. Look for the SS Lightning on Pier 14, Captain Darryl Sanders and First Mate Carlos Batista will be there by Friday.
