He's not her fiancée. He's a half-goat who is going to find himself on a steady diet of 00 Buck if he comes anywhere near my daughter again.

Your paternal instincts aside for a moment, Mr. Caliburn.

The fact remains that your daughter is not here but rather there.

And closer to that half goat than you and your firearm.

I will find a way.

There are ways to be found.

Oh, I think I might have confused some folks . . . I wasn't talking about going to the faerie realm . . . I was trying to think of ways to deal with the nightmare.

Hmmm. I see.

I admit I am at somewhat of a loss.

During our 'discussions' after we got her back yesterday I found out what she was talking about - it's clever, and way too dangerous. She will NOT be going anywhere near Not Me.

WHAT? You lecture me about avoiding posting what's going on in our personal lives and then you put this kind of stuff on the boards? and that crack about the school girl crush?

This is going to be a very quiet ride dad.

Hannah, you should be nicer to your father, fear of having to bury one's offspring often clouds anything resembleing reason.

Mr. Caliburn, she is YOUR daughter, and has many of your traits..... Will you aid her in her endeavor, or force her to sneak off to do what she thinks is right, adding guilt to the existing burden?

Be carefull, childe, you are a light in the darkness - are rare beacon of hope for many - and a shining target to those who wish to see hope extinguished. If you can, try to bring your father with you, he is skillfull and wise in the ways of the hunt, and none will give more to protect you than he.

The Butterfly forgot who they were.

Between Zhuangzi and a butterfly there must be some distinction!

Why must there be a distinction?

Both are merely different facets of the same illusion.

Thank you.

I assume you are addressing your impromptu guardian.

Hannah wrote:No, it was your post.

It gave me an idea.

Hannah,

You are a bright and creative young woman.

But if I am right about what you are considering (and I have been wrong about your intentions in this regard before), then I must advise against it. Your mind is young and impressionable. The discipline something like this would require is... a great deal more than most will ever be capable of.

Failure could result in the subversion of all you are.

Your father is correct. The benefit is not worth the risk. Another way must be found. Please reconsider.

Why does everyone suddenly feel the need to tell me what to do?

There is a world of difference between telling you what to do and advising against a dangerous course of action.

So before you get your back up, step back and think about it. So I will ask you again.

Please reconsider.
