Gotta ask, why was her hospital room secured by police?

Hopefully you've had the opportunity for psychometry on the missing people's belongs before the etheric impressions fade.

Indeed. A very fundamental question to have answered.

Reaper wrote:Psychometry? You mean psychic object reading. I have heard of that method used by psychics who offer their aid to the police and other investigations. I personally have never had the need of the aid of psychics.

Maybe I should?
Absolutely. Get some folks from our Society to check the girl out and have her take them into the woods where there may be some psychic impressions left for the sensitives and mediums to pick up on.

Diviners could help you locate ley lines or (transitional) places of power, which is always helpful to be aware of when you're working a case in the woods.

Without going over your case files, there's not much more I can do to help.

You should still have somebody go over her hospital bed, a favourite toy she left at her house, anything that she owned will provide clues. They should go over any possession the parents of the other missing persons can offer; the more intimate the better, such as a blanket or teddy bear.

This will help with the closure and it may well help with finding out who "they" are.

I remember a time when pronouns were a useful part of the English language. Then I joined the Lazlo Society.

Everything started 10 years ago at St. Daphnie's hospital for children and ends in that Timberline General hospital room.

Start from the beginning. What did you learn about St. Daphnie's? Were all seven born there or something?

Seven people can not just vanish without a trace.

Except that they did. "...when you have eliminated the improbable, whatever remains, however impossible, must be the truth."

Can you be more clear on the nature of their non-association. Were they indifferent, hostile, etc. towards each other. Sometimes when you get into cliques you may want to associate with somebody, but it's difficult - sometimes impossible - because of your clique.

I suggest that you attempt to verify that there was nothing supernatural about the storm. Look for ley lines or (transitional) places of power near the hospital. I may seem obsessive about this. It's because I am. But I believe for a very good reason.

Oh dear lord that's the truth.
Cliques are social weapons.
Destroyers of life and consumers of souls.

Don't bother about the supernasty storm business.
Natasha's got a good brain in her head generally speaking, just a couple criss-crossed wires that's all.
Certainly not the worst case I've ever seen.

Really odd.

Were you able to get any detailson the kinds of things they were saying and in what tones once they started speaking to each other again?

Have you looked into the staff working at the place they were all at. Any known common associations could be a link to something deeper.

Let's assume that this "They" is actually a group of people. Then it may be possible to figure out who "They" is. If "They" were keeping tabs on the children, then one of them probably worked at the hospital during the children's stay there. You might find a further link by seeing if any of those employees show up later in the children's life (teacher, janitor, pastor, counselor, etc.) with access.

Not saying that it will get you anywhere, but it is at least something to look into.

Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said.

Maybe a witness protection program?

I wouldn't trust any government witness protection program to save my body or my soul.

There are plenty of psychic specialists that regularly post.

There are also plenty of them within the Society membership that never post here that you could tap.

I wish I could head that way, it sounds like you have quite the interesting mystery on your hands.

I would suggest taking a Zippo Lighter or some other form of non-powered Emergency Lighting with you into the woods. An old fashioned compass and emergency kit might be smart too, especially if you are by yourself. Nothing worse than being hurt or lost in the woods without emergency stuff.

From the sounds of it, I would not want to be dependent on something that needs power in that area.

It sounds as though you've done a very thorough investigation. I hate to say it, but you might just have to chalk this one up as a loss. People are still trying to solve Jack the Ripper's crimes, after all. If you do, make sure you organize your notes very well, in case you uncover new information.

The batteries might have died during the weeks since the disappearance. Do you know if they were working when the police found them?
