I have returned from spending at least a decade in the wilderness, running from myself. It was the early ninties, I think, when I left. I returned in 2003 and was reluctant, and quite distracted, to recontact the Society.

It feels good to be back, but its a pain to get my life back on track.

What did you find, while you were running from yourself?

No, I wasn't searching for anything. Just left, to get away. Didn't plan on a timeframe to be gone. It just came out to be nearly a decade(?).

Uh....the site is less than 5 years old? How could he be returning after ten years to a site that is younger than the time he's been gone?

He left society in general, and presumably found us, and found us to be an appropriate place to mingle...

Victor Lazlo died (or disappeared or what have you) clear back in the early 1980's. Robert Mach had begun to form a society made up of Lazlo's contacts after that. This website is only the electronic manifestation of that.

True. I keep forgetting about the groups that existed before this forum--and still exist--in his honor...
