so there was a "mirage" that lasted for 4 hours last summer in a city in china. The mirage showed a city above the local bay. This city shows images of buildings, construction....

I wonder what is going on there... (I'm no longer in china), so anyone who explores there please let us know

I don't, but I'd be interested in going and checking it out...

Not that I think I'd be lucky enough to see anything, if I were even lucky enough to have the time and money to go... (And I don't have a passport, but that's easily fixed...)

What does the picture show?

It says it’s by Penglai city, in the Shandong Province. But I suppose you were referring to the mystery city . . . what does the picture show?

By the way, welcome back, Adorabilly.

It's a pretty modern city, skyscrapers, a tower or two . . .

Ah. I've only seen pictures of New York, but to me, with the Twin Towers out of the picture, NYC looks just like Chicago, Austin, Seattle, etc, etc, etc... Maybe it's just my druidic nature, but they all look the same to me.

Hey guys.

No problem there. I have lived in china for a few years, so I try to keep up on the mysterious stuff that happens there.

got a bit sidetracked by things like life, career.

I'm not familiar with the image shown in china, and have never been to that city...

I wonder if it could be some sort of dimensional anomaly, a time warp, or other interesting effects.

If there are any reports of disappearances from the area during the time frame that these "mirages" occur, that'd definitely give meat to your theory. Want me to do some digging and see what I can find?

there also appears to be a great deal of falun dafa activity (they are a religious group affiliated with the falun gong which are banned in china)

I wonder what their involvement is, and what they know.

There are several sites that think it could be a dimensional anomoly as I previously theorized.

and this page has several more mirages around china..

Or maybe this is what is causing it.

Notice the "restoration of an ancient port"

Maybe they upset something... we had problems in xinzheng when some workers unearthed a tomb and let out a demon... could be something similar.

This sounds like a dimensional or quantum anomaly. I've been doing research into this stuff from the field, granted with what little instrumentation I have, but anything is better than nothing. Course my own senses help out in that regard. Anyway, I've had occurances like that before, certain things appearing to be mirages, but when you're -in- them it's a different story.
