*sigh...* Even if I could get there, I'm not sure how much good I could do... I'm not skilled at dealing with peoples' dreams, or at least, not terribly skilled.

We finally have power back over here. The doors and windows won't open though. I don't know what "that" means now, but since wjatever is happening seems confined to the hospital, I'm ok with that for now.

Here we are going into yet another night, and still no answers. We got another broken computer message claiming to be Ben again, mentioning that "The Dark One can not control the manifestations, that they want out into our world."

The message was pretty garbled, but one thing was also clear enough to make out, "Do not let me wake up!"

I couldn't figure out why. With all the insanity that has been going on around here over the past few days, it never made any sense ....

If that was really Ben, somehow communicating with us, then that explains the spikes everytime we try to wake him up, and the odd occurances like that "thing" that suddenly appeared out of nowhere earlier today.

I've been looking at this all wrong since the start. The more we try to wak him up, the weaker his unconscious mind gets, the harder he tries to hang on.

He wants to stay comatosed, but why. For what reason. Could it be these things that are happening?

In any case, Im going to try to sedate Ben further, to attempt to strengthen his coma and see what happens. If I am right, we should see results quickly.

It very well could be ben leaving those messages. My last teacher and mentor who coincidentally goes by the name Shadow has done so before. He sleeps like the dead thanks to his time in the military and a whole bunch of experimental shit he was exposed to. He's been known several times to be completely unconcious and has held conversations over the internet. I can vouch that he was comatose too.

Then again Shadow is the most powerful Psychic I have ever heard of, or seen. How would Ben pull it off, unless he knows how to use his Right-brain, or unconcious mind.

Well another morning after another long night. I am on my last legs.
Someone suggested that I go get some sleep. How can I, knowing that Ben is like this?

At least once I administered the drugs, the doors and windows reopened and people could leave.

I am alone on the floor with Ben now, who In their rightmind wants to be associated with this. I have even started to hear voices now.
Maybe its Ben asking me to end this all and just put him out of his suffering. I am just so tired....

His reading are between 100 -200 range with no flux. Maybe its time and he no longer has any fight left in him.

I know I don't have any fight left in me....

The more I rack my brains over this, the more I'm guessing it's something else from his dark and mysterious past that he doesn't want anyone to know about.

I think that there's no way to help Ben from the outside. I think someone is gonna have to go in there after him.

From what little we know, I'd wager a guess that he's fighting demonic versions of us. Example: That evil Russian Bear-thing was Shadow Kolya.

Hello Everyone

You'll be glad to know that Ben Holister is okay, I have seen to that personally. Its a good thing I came when I did or he would be dead and an innocent woman would have become a murdrer.

Funny how those things work into a profile.

Dr. Valentine is in Tall Pines, recovering from her bout with temporary "possession". Ben is alive, and about to seperated frm this nightmare he is in.

I have read your posts about that amulet of yours Shadowstalker, I do not believe the two are connected, but lest not we explore all avenues of probability. You need your people right now, take them to help on your case, it is primary.

This incident with I believe is self induced, a way for him to make amends with something, his thoughts are distant, blurred by the dark reality he is curently in. Thing is he is a very stubborn man who quite bent on seeing this thing through to the end.

I know where he is going from his attempt at communicating with us from that reality. I am taking Ben there, alone, any "aid" would only compromise the location. Sorry, but that is how this is going to work.

Ben was a very close friend, and a good man. We never saw eye to eye on many things, but the world needs men like him.

To the rest of yoube careful, I sense more at work here than meets the eye.

1) Did Ben ever talk about his father at all.

2) How & when exactly did he lapse into this coma.

3) Has anyone been in contact with Ben since his coma and after his arrival here in Cypress Cove.

I need to know these things to be certain about who or what may have caused this, and if any possible threat exists.

I just need to cover my bases.

You need only look at some of the past posts.

He's mentioned that he's disappointed with his father... How he lapsed into the coma, I'm not entirely sure... The situation...was kinda complex. It involved his other persona, "Codename Death". As for people who've been in contact... I tried, and a man named Shang Li tried... He's supposed to be there, now. As I understand it, Shadowstalker was in a kind of contact with him for a very brief time.

I beleive I can help Holister out, but just to be on the safe side,
if no one hears back from either of us come morning, check the clearing outside of town called "The Sacred Circle". Its a Native American holy place.

The Kami are close there, the veil weak. I have been meditating down in the basement, making sure I am both out of the way and undisturbed. I will continue the flow of chi untill either I am out (about a week left) Or Mr Holister recovers.

Well if you need anything there Shang Li just talk to one of my people.

Do you have any men who have mastered Chiatsu? If I can get 4 hours of meditation a day, I can maintain this untill I lose my mind from a lack of sleep (actually the body rests fine, but the mind does need some dreamtime to maintain balance - but that can wait).

Well I have good news, and some bad news.

The good news is that Holister is alive, well, and "whole" again. He's sleeping it off at his place. He'll be up and around this afternoon.

As for the bad news, something escaped that place, I don't know exactlty what yet, but it was not exacty substanial, I think that it was one of those nightmare creatures. Anyway I plan on tracking it down.

Other than that, things have returned back to normal around here. Without Ben to use as a conduit, they've gone back to sculking in the dark places and that damn house on the hill.

I would like to offer a great deal of thanks to Shang Li for his vigilance in this, I've heard alot about you, maybe one day we can sit and chat over some tea.

I would also like to thank Shadowstalker for his help in keeping Holister alive long enough for him to pull through this alright.

You all can see and talk t the man later. It is safe for the girl to come home too. As for me, I've got a living sleep disorder to find.

I am glad to have been able to help. Right now, however i will be quite content to sit in this old records storage room and meditate to recover my energy. I hope to be performing a Tea cerimony as Mr. Holister's soon. As for what crossed through - is it dangerous enough to need stopped before I recover? (I still have enough energy stored for a few more days without true sleep or rest)

I have a need of things to do, I have to keep my mind off of what is happening back home. (I do not dare walk the streets of my home untill the turmoil dies down a bit, and certain "treasures" are recovered)

Its nothing that I can't handle on my own Master Li.

Though, I may think you a bit more comfortable at Ben's place. He has a nice zen garden meditation room that he seldom uses.

I will be sure to fill you in upon the elimination of this "thing'.
