At least you're calmer now. I thought you were going to hunt me down, for a while there.

For a little argument? Please Angel, what kind of asshole do you think I am?

On second thought, don't answer that.

I've got bad news... We have a huge pile we need cleaned up. I am DEFINITELY going to need help with this, but I most assuredly don't want to deal with it here on the boards...

I don't have time to worry about what Gabe is doing, anymore. As far as everyone is concerned, treat him as the enemy, because he is most assuredly helping the enemy.

Anyone who is capable of helping, there is a lot of setting up that needs done, and we only have until Halloween to set it up... Windner's repeating last year, but this time, the dance is a different one.

Anyone capable and willing to help out, please PM me ASAP...

You know i'll want a part of the action, and no more whining on whether i'm bad or good.

I never did that... I trust you, man.

Though lately, I feel more and more that my trust in people has been misguided...but then I turn to Lex, and remind myself that it isn't always, so...I have faith that my trust right now isn't being misplaced.

Don't go and think everyone's against you off the bat, GS. I'm sure it seems like it sometimes, but... You've done a hell of a lot for this society, and you aren't showing too much outward aggression to anyone, despite your new position in the society.

I'll admit, I'm skeptical about your... *ahem* your condition, GS, but you are still more than welcome to come by when I'm home again... If being vampiric doesn't automatically make you evil? I think that's what all of the wards in my house are geared towards, no one ever explained it fully to me.

Before I invite him over, anyone know if my house is dangerous for him? Anyone at all?

Posted: Mon Aug 20, 2007 1:18 am
by GhostSpider
Well Zack, I installed some of those wards, and they would not affect me, even were I evil. However, the ones I didn't put up are beyond my ken. Diabolism can be a very personal Art, and many of us like to personalize our wards. You'll have to talk to their installers. Hey, if I do come over i'll bring the beer and steaks. :D

KT, I was actually talking to the Big 3:Ron, Kolya, and Bert. You've always had trust in me, and i'm really appreciative in that. Also, don't question your own judgement. You can't control the choices people (I use the term loosely) make.

I need PM's, guys... I'd prefer to do things by PM than openly on the board. I need to know who all is capable and willing to try and help take Windner down...

Remember, he reads these boards, so the less said publically about everything, including who is involved, the better.

yeah, need to keep this on the QT . . . though since Gabe has accesss to KT's Lazlo Account (have you tried changing the password?) we should fallback to alternate lines of contact.

by KonThaak
Already done... I changed the password for not only this account, but my gmail account as well, so he can't post anymore until he requests a new account for himself, and has a new regular e-mail account... I predict he won't be bothering us too much for a while.

From what I understand of his actions, I'm already somewhat bothered.

KT I know what part of your problem is, if you want me to PM it to you or post it here let me know. I am going to be at your place as early as 5 PM Central tonight, sorry for no advanced warning or request for the visit. You'll understand once I explain the situation to you.

On a lighter note I am bringing the goodies I collected for you, and a few things for Lexi as well.

Michael, sorry again that I wasn't a better host last night... Thanks for the help.

Guys... Judging by what Michael told me, I may not be fit to go out and help with all this mess... I may...may end up more in the way than anything else.

I...I need to do some serious soul-searching. I get the feeling that things are going on even as we speak, but...I don't want to do something stupid and endanger everyone.

...

I fear for my own soul. It would seem that Windner didn't let Bloodbane get me the information he got for me as accidentally as it seemed... The necromancy I have been studying, been practicing, been preparing to defend myself against, has been opening a hole in my soul... Even though I've been very selective about what I've done, to keep from practicing anything darker than calling out to spirits who've already passed well beyond the reach of most, Windner spun something into the magics I got ahold of... He tricked me, and now he has his claws on at least a part of my soul. I don't know how deeply, or how much he could control me, or even if he could manipulate me in the least at this time...

I have to try and figure all that out.

I just don't know if I can trust the results I get, either which way.

You guys were right... It was hubris to think I could do this... I'm sorry.

KT you are alive and still well, while you remain so there is always hope. I am pulling up some old rituals that should purge the problem and set you back straight, and when the time for Winder to be faced comes I'll be there to help teach him about magic. Relax and enjoy the items I left for you and we will deal with this ASAP.

As far as poor host don't worry I should have called to be sure you were up to a visit.

Well, even though you do deserve an "I told you so", I won't give it to you. I will however give you some help.

KT, I have some knowledge that can help you. If you are willing, send me a PM.

Mr. KonThaak or Mr. T do either of you think there is a way to turn this against this windner guy and use it to your advantage.

Posted: Sun Aug 26, 2007 1:39 pm
by GhostSpider
Maybe, but I have to talk to KT first.

I have some ideas on that regard Sophoroto, but as this board has been used by opponents in the past I'll stay quite on that matter till I act. I have some other tricks up my sleeve to pull off if need be.

Thanks, GS...and you, too, Michael.

Just keep in mind...Windner always seems to be a couple steps ahead of everyone else. I...I imagine he has something set in place to ensure we can't use this to our advantage.

Thanks, all the same... I feel like a monumental idiot for wanting to try.

Never fell a fool for wanting to learn more in life KT, I am sorry I could'nt get freed up enough to look into the spells first. I may have seen the trap in there and been able to remove it or at least get you untainmted tomes to go through.

We live and we learn ladies and gentlemen, least we stagnate and die from inactivity.

Michael, maybe we should talk about this. I think I can help KT, but "my" knowledge concerning this kind of magic is limited. A second opinion, from someone more knowledgeable, would be a big help.

Then don’t say it, Ron. When a friend falls into a pit, we pull him out of it. To kick them when they’re down doesn’t do anybody any good. Josh . . . if you need any help, please don’t hesitate to ask. And good luck in your recovery either way.

Mr. KonThaak, I don't remember who said it but I heard one time, "Anything that can be done can be undone the trick is finding how."

So keep hope in your heart and all will be fine.

Well if he had listened to my advice we wouldn't need to dig him out of the pit.

I have plenty of shovels, though I'm not sure they are the type he needs right now.

He only has to ask and I'll do what I can.
