That is very unfortunate.

I am pretty sure he won't be doing it again tho.

True, true.

Walking unaided or using a jackhammer.

Both.

Or "tweaking" saftey mechanisms.

Unless he's really stupid.

Screwing with the safety is never something to do for light and transient reasons. You better have one fucking important reason.

Like never.

I hesitate to use "never" but I can't think of a circumstance offhand to do it.

"Never is a very big word."

"So is 'elephant', what's your point?"

Overheard an American pub.

I had to bypas the safetys on a pneumatic nail gun to use it as a weapon once . . . but I knew what I was doing.

Some would say I use explosives in a slipshod manner; I say I know what I'm doing with explosives and better the devil ya know than the one that's trying to rip your throat out.

I'm gonna call 'bullshit' on this one and claim this is not actually English.

Your head doesn't count.

That's perfectly good American English!

I forgot that American English is like American Football.

As in 'not really at all'.

It's not very good American English either.

If you understand the reasons why the safety protocol is there you can understand when and why it can be alright to bypss it.

My co-worker didn't understand that the deadman switch was there incase he lost his grip on the jackhammer and to keep him focused on his job.

He paid for it in spectacular, gory fashion.

Bert has a good knowledge of explosives, and I hope he understands the when and whys about the safety procedures.

I strongly believe a large portion of these large cat sightings may be Therians of some form or another.
