You had me worried man!

Sorry, man. If I'd told anyone, it could've been easier for them to figure out what I was doing.

Sorry for worrying everyone. I was hoping my first post back would be a really cool story about how I took down Jeremiah or something like that. ^^;

Playing possum has to be carefully done and in such a way that they don't get the chance to pop a few more into your body to be sure before you spring.

Glad you and Hannah are ok. Well more Hannah than you Ron, but still. Glad you're both ok.

Well, it worked last time Hannah.

You're more than welcome to use one of my homes as neutral ground. Just be sure to hide all the weapons first

Or I can offer one of my homes and allow Hannah access to my collection of non-mystic books once we know that there is not going to be a war.

Perhaps but I also have added my mentor's and a few other collections to mine. Might be interesting to go through yours to see if I need any of them found for my collection. I have a illness that will have me blow through a book in a hour or so for most of the works out now. The larger novels take me a couple of hours to destroy. So I am constantly buy and aquiring new books, includeing many in the original old english, not to mention over a dozen other languages. Once all this settles and I deal with my trip I invite you to browse my collection.

Hannah, I also have multiple copies of some of the classics if you would like them let me know and if Ron is okay with it I'll get them sent to you.

...

Ok, I don't read quite that fast, but I can plow through an 800+ page novel in two days.

I had to learn to read fast and retain it, my mentor wanted to be sure I could cut through a load of information fast. Helps when having to go through a dozen or more reference books on demons and such to find it's weakness.

I can read slower, but I need to be reading to my little girl to do so. That way she can absorb the stories and ask any questions she might have.

I can zip through a book between 5.5 to 6.5 syllables a second and retain information but that's not reading for enjoyment anymore.

Hannah seems to be in your league Micheal - though it's hard to tell because some stuff she rereads time and again like a thirsty man picking up that sponge hoping there's still one more drop.

Anyway, which classics?

Back to the point of this thread, who were the gunmen taking orders from Ron?

Posted: Wed May 16, 2007 9:19 am
by dym
Me. They took orders from me. Just like Pa thought. He's so smart!

And do not joke with yourselves. If I wanted either Pa or the girl dead, that is exactly what they would be right now.

Dym, I don't know how you resisted the magical attack I sent your way...

There aren't too many who can just completely ignore something like that. In point of fact, I've never used that kind of attack against anyone who could shrug it off like that...

An attack against your karma like that should have left you completely crippled by now... Instead, I checked on the energies, only to find they'd never truly had an effect at all.

Not only are you not human, but you're a creature of a unique type, a creature that could never have another lifetime, has never had another lifetime. The only creatures I know of like that are angels and demons...

And you damned sure ain't no angel.

Maybe I could try summoning you, and dispatching you that way... I don't suppose you'd give me your truename, so I could do just that, would you?

dym, here is some advice for you

Don't play cards with a man named Doc
Don't eat at a place called Mom's
Never make a wager with a Sicilian when death is on the line
Never pull on Superman's cape
Don't spit in the wind
Don't pull the mask off the old lone ranger
Don't mess with Jim (unless you're Slim)
Mess not with the mouse
Don't poke the hornets nest with a stick

And finally, to paraphrase Jeanette Rankin, "You can no more win a war with the Lazlo Society than you can win an earthquake."

What? I have been very nice.

I sprung the misguided whore's uncle from jail and arranged to have him meet her. Who better to have around than family at a time like that?

I did the world a favour mincing that Phi Sig frat boy into neat pieces.

I have been quite good actually.

If I had really wanted to . . .

The classic refrain of a villain trying to make his failures seem more threatening.

I don't think you need to worry about Dym much longer Ron. I think he just dug a very large grave for himself without realizing it.

Good. Let's hope he occupies it sooner rather than later.

Listening to these morons testosteronize it up gets real old, real fast.

Ok, so lets say he isn't human. Then what is he. Maybe we narrow down the roster of possibilites.

I know he is not an intelligence, {He doesn't have any}.

So where does that leave us?

We can rule out any of the more mundane or animalistic monsters.

I'm thinking Vampire, Were, Greater Demon of some sort.
