Just being honest.

Yes, I left out many mythological type of events. If time allows I might add those but they're usually around actual astronomical events anyways. I'm not trying to make excuses though. I really appreciate your input Hannah. If you have more, let's hear about them. That goes for the rest of us here at the Society; if you have any events to add, let's hear about them.

Thank you as usual Natasha.

By the way, anyone else disturbed that Vernal Equinox is followed so closely by a near approach by a planet named for a dark god who devoured his own children?

Given the dreams Mr. Caliburn has had of the end of modern civilization, I have had occasion to wonder if he had some touch of clairvoyance. Certainly this would seem a portent especially when one considers that on the 22nd of March, Hannah was in Khavik's possession (and may still be). It was also the day that Mr. Caliburn was last seen, having been blown up in a church that evening.

Was Hannah in that church or is she still in Khaviks clutches, her future to be molded by his hand?

One could easily compare Saturn to Khavik or any vampire as they must literally consume their progeny. But this myth is more likely intended to relate deeper truths of human existence. Specifically that it is part of the cycle of life that eventually children grow up and supplant their parents.

We are witnessing this process. Hannah was growing and learning even as her father continued to age. It is not hard to imagine her coming of age and perhaps surpassing her old man as a hunter of the supernatural.

The Saturn reference becomes particularily poignant here. The nightmare often referred to as 'Not Ron' is a father figure image manifested from Hannah's mind. Every bit as dark as Saturn. And ultimately, it is Hannah herself that must confront and supplant this supernatural image-or else be consumed by it.

And speaking of the supernatural, certain trends are true for them as well. Hannah's friend, Peter has lost his father and must now step up to take his place...

Hmmm.

Interesting analysis - but can you tell me where Khavik has gone . . . or next week's winning lottery numbers.
