On anything short of the bigger dogs, the .22 might be more humane.

It can fire varying size darts lengthwise (powered by compressed gas, not a explosive propellant). So, the dart doesn't have to be outrageously large compared to the target; especially if a smaller payload is required.

I got lots of riot control stuff, should be enough to drive htem away if we chose.

Heck, I got a few of these babies that are basically paintball markers but the ball is filled with OC.

OC?

Sorry, I don't handle the non-lethal stuff that much.

Aha! My first thought was something to do with "Capsicum" (the chemical in hot peppers that makes them spicy).

How many dogs, and what kind, are we talking about, here, and how long have they been there now? (Now being whenever you guys see this post... I probably won't see your reply until I'm off work, unless by some miracle I get put on a decent route and get a lunch break... Fuckin' jerks...)

Mr. Greydawn: There's an airstrip in St. Charles... Regardless of whether or not your plane can take the extra passengers, have your plane go there. Make sure your pilot has a cell phone and stays somewhere warm until I get there... I'll send you a PM with my number as soon as I finish typing this post. Have him call me as soon as he gets in town, and I'll call him back when I'm done with my day at work.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

At least 10, but not constantly, sometimes they come and go. Different breeds of biggish dogs, no pugs, for example.

Ron is right, we need to consider the possibility that they mean us harm.

As far how we grab one of these bastards, I do not care if we toss laced meat or pop one with a tranq dart.

Mr. Konthaak, he will be landing around 12:00 noon and awaiting your call. after you have finished with things at Mr. Caliburns he will get you back to Chicago. He is at your dispossal until this is all taken care of.

No thanks necessary. Just doing what I can to help at the moment, since I cannot be there to help personally.

I wish you all the best of luck.

Well, we tried dispersing them first thing this morning with a tear gas grenade. And it worked. The grenade had just started releasing the gas and the dogs caught a whiff of it and high tailed it out of there. Around noon, after the gas had long since thoroughly dispersed, they returned and even added to their ranks a bit.

These animals are being actively controlled.

And if they are, could someone sensitive to such things trace it back to its source?

Sounds like it could be a druid, or possibly vampire. Vampires have been known to be able to direct packs of canines. Might possibly also be a Lycan. I've heard one account or two on this board about them being accompanied by dogs.

Then again, those are just my guesses.

They definitely know pretty much what they are doing... more than a retarded pug sniffing for a bit of tail... which means Bert is dead on balls accurate.

Following back to their owner is out of my league, psionically speaking, but I do have two legs that work very well...

If we disperse them again, can we track them to where they run to?

Might be possible, though they ran off in different directions. So we'd have to get lucky and find the one that lead to poppa.

Or, we can tag them all with radio tracking devices and plot out where they end up on a map of D.C.

Well Ron, I don't suppose you could get ahold of some tracking tags that we could take apart and fit in my Dart Rifle.

Well, they might disperse without going home...but eventually, presumably, they will go home.

Maybe we can track one, capture another...

Hi Guys

This is Agent Kincaid, Hi Bert
(waves).

Why don't you just paint cloud the pack and track them with Sat Com surveillance like they do with penquin migrations. Our surveillance team has a few of those paint cloud grenades. Just take about two to cover that whole pack, then track the pack back to its lair. It invisible and non toxic so you won't hurt the pups, but due to the dye, we can track them easy enough.

Oh, any word on Ben yet Bert?

Yeah, I agree there Ron. I finally got rid of all the taps after I got rid of my phone back in my last port of call.

Ron and I have been hard at work in the shop! As you can imagine its kind of wierd since we both know what we're doing but have different ways of going about it and have never worked together before.

Anyone watching us try and work together is prolly laughing their asses off.

yea, because I got nothing else to do. :P

K, by the way, we owe Bert dinner or something... he gave me a light in addition to footing the bill for grub, too. How cool is this guy?

Ron's hooking me up, too. We owe him more than what I brought for him...

I'm hungry. Who's hungry? I promise not to finish my plate before you get your fork out of the napkin this time...
