ok... I've got all my usual tricks (and a couple new ones) planted where I ought to need them, got my girl to introduce me to the dogs so I'm less likely to get my face ripped off, gave her a little demonstration of what I can do to cut down on any freaking out in the thick ofthings, AND raided her collections of swords and handcuffs (just in case)...

now I just need the bait... time to goad her mother into calling the number they left with her. hopefully, this time tomorrow night, I'll have some answers... not to mention a new war story.

for myself or the bad guys?

Not a bad idea to consider both, getting some for yourself, and watching out for any that could put a hitch in your plan.

If they expect your backup they may have backup backup to arrive after your backup.

Because the FDA could be hiding behind every corner... 9.9

I have faith in you, Robin. If you need a safehouse, you can always come here. I'll understand if you don't have the luxury of a forewarning.

Maybe in about a year to a year and a half or so, I'll have a house big enough that noone will mind coming to me...

Also, I can help into looking into this "ghost" of your sister?

PM me with any details if you are interested.

It's not that your house isn't big enough, it's just that I don't really like to impose.

Now... let's see if I can type up my news before either my connection or my laptop dies...

Robin, you're my friend, and I mean that. I wouldn't offer my place up if I felt you were imposing.

in other news (because I always feel so guilty about cliffhangers)...

those other goons have visited my mother's house again. Jake (stepbrother number one, 11, husky, redhead, good enough at wrestling to be a significant annoyance to me despite obvious size disadvantage, cribs bad dance moves from the movie Hitch for fun... "Q tip, Q tip, then throw it away!") says they looked like they'd been on the wrong end of a serious brawl, with big ugly bruises on their faces. Autumn (stepsister, 13, small blimp, blonde-ish brown hair, constantly tortures herself with fashion magazines) says they smelled funny and gave her a real creepy feeling. I invite those of you who have been here as long as I have to groan at this news with me.

And now James (half-brother, 6, blonde, huge ears, middle names Tiberius and Kirk... yes, my mom mixes her religious fundamentalism with a good dose of Trekkie... and any South Park based Jimmy and Timmy jokes will be punishable by death) is saying some really creepy things about seeing "Sissy"... :?

and I had to tap this in five times by stylus before my DS would actually post it. :x
