See you all there. Looking forward to seeing Hannah and her Pa again.

Kolya, the vice versa applies.

As for the eyes Bert . . . it's really hard to explain . . . there's some burn scars on the inside of the sockets and inside of the eyelids but nothing on the outside. Not even an eyelash out of place.

The weirdest thing is this membrane at the back. Thick, dark and oily. It covers up the optic nerve and all the blood vessels.

She just came back from the dead Ron. Be glad that the price was only her eyes.

Ghost... You haven't seen her.
If that was the price she payed to come back, and human to? I suppose it could have been worse.

I've never seen her period, so it probably wouldn't phase me all that much.

True enough.

The others are already in the air. I will be leaving soon. This missing boy thing changed plans a little bit.

Hi Everyone,

I had never seen her before neither - the misisng eyes really don't look right at all . . . but that's okay because there's a great person there.

Hannah

PS I think Pa is glad that Bert gave Eilonwy a pair of mirrored shades.

PPS I don't think she likes being called Ellie.

I'm dead aren't I?

Well I gave them to her more for everyone else and not for my sake

I remember back in the cathedral, when I got to where she was hiding, the sun had struck her in the face, searing her eyes. Perhaps its a hold over from that?

Perhaps it is the a sacrifice made to become human again by what ever made her return possible. I have some questions I would like to ask her. Ron may I drop in to visit in a few days?

I'm...I'm gonna try being up there tomorrow. The...the hotel bit is a bit...disappointing...but I wanna come up and visit...

I, uh...I'm in a bit of pain, at the moment.

Lot to post about... I'm gonna try to get it all in the appropriate sections.

I'm gonna try to be there tomorrow, like I said... Can you get me an address, so I can get a map, and find it from the air...?

Do you need help KT? I can be there in a few minutes if you need, as long as you can clear the living room for my arrival.

I'll be fine... Can't take magical healing right now. Thank you, though...

It is what you get for going against what you are druid.

KT, I get the sinking suspiscion that Belladrox is trying to say, na na na na.

A rarity, I'm sure.

I can...and, more importantly, I WILL...do and overcome this. I've tested the waters enough to know what I've done wrong, and will strive to avoid doing it again.

The texts GS sent me should help with that, too.

If I don't understand how this crap works, then others can continue to use it against me and mine to greater effect...

Huh-uh. Ain't no damned way. I'm gonna get this shit figured out, so I can start figuring out how to break it down and turn it against the casters.

I'll figure it out. I have faith in that.

Directions sent KT but remember abotu the whole necro thing that once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

Destiny, as I'm sure Willie will back me up, lies in our own hands. We can shape our own destinies... So long as I don't use this to bring harm to any innocents, I'll be fine. I know I will.

Also, so long as I keep up the purification rituals...

Man, whatever hotel I set up in is gonna LOOOOVE me. XD

by Ron Caliburn
So what is involved in a purifiction ritual anyway?

Posted: Tue Jun 26, 2007 12:32 am
by GhostSpider
Well Ron, I think purification just might be a part of it, but don't quote me on that.

KT, I think I get what Belladrox is saying, but i'll try to be a bit more diplomatic. You are a druid, someone who embraces the living world. Necromancy embraces death and the like. By practicing Necromancy, you are violating the fundamental nature of being a druid. Perhaps your spell never went wrong. Maybe you are being punished for violating your nature. That is my theory at least.

by Ron Caliburn
Sounds plausible

Posted: Tue Jun 26, 2007 1:25 am
by KonThaak
It's true, druidry embraces life...but death is as much a part of life as is birth. To deny that is to deny a very fundamental truth of the universe...

I have conversed with the physical manifestation of Death itself. I have gone beyond and seen two different places that souls go when they depart. I have regressed my own past lives. None of this seems odd to me...

Therefore, as long as I don't go against my own nature, then practicing necromancy--in very limited degrees, and only in certain situations--shouldn't cause that kind of "punishment" against me...

I never said the spell went wrong. I just ended up having two things going against me:

First, I was reaching out to a departed soul that hadn't yet departed...

Second, I failed to properly ground myself for the amount of energy that was going to be pouring through me.

When it backlashed because it couldn't latch onto the soul I sought, it sorta smacked into me... I sustained some spiritual wounds from the energy returning from whence it came: me. It came back in full force, kinda like a tidal wave. If I'd'a had a proper ground for it, I wouldn't've had the problems...

Fortunately, pain-killers had an effect on what I was experiencing, and keeping quartz crystals on my body helped my energies flow more naturally, so I recovered fairly quickly from that problem...

So, it's like the metaphysical equivalent of a wacky water weasel?

Trying to understand. You sound pretty messed up from it, that's all.

by KonThaak
Not really... Ask Michael T or Adama, that should've made sense.

by GhostSpider
You have a point there KT, but necromancy violates the balance of life and death. I guess what i'm trying to say is be careful KT. Remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Damned good thing I don't believe in Hell, then.

EDIT: I'm sorry, I just made myself sound really reckless... That wasn't my intent. I'm still going with my old standby: "Proceed with extreme caution".
