Actually, Mr. Ash Shaytan, "Jumping to conclusions" IS "Calling it as seen". The reverse can also be said with accuracy.

We regularily jump to conclusions about what we see based on little more than our own individual prejuidices.

This tendency has saved me more often than not.

Well, it’s probably safe to say that everyone can be wrong on occasion.

I’m still apologizing to Sarah for a certain . . . “mishap.”

yes Everyone can be wrong at times. When that happens you make your apologies and move on.

And taking a moment to verify what I just saw has saved mine. And jumping to conclusions has boiled it.
Someone has to man the "reality check station" around here, and it might as well be me.

You mis-understand, Mr. Ash-Shaytan.

Jumping to conclusions on my part has never saved my life.

Others doing so, has.

I understood you perfectly, sir. Only, both aspects have entered my life. People jumping to conclusions have nearly seen to my death, and in my own younger days, its caused me to lose a fair share of knuckle skin.
