Slow Recovery
Slow Recovery
Hello Eveyone
I am Dr. Sydney Valentine. I am filling in everyone who aided Ben Holister on his current condition.
He is recovering, but it has been very slow. After everything that happened in Chicago, it was judged best to bring him home and allow him to recover there.
He is now at the Cypress Cove Medical Clinic under 24 watch.
I have gone over Dr. Adam Chase's
Demiclies project and the process by which the subjects were meant to be deprogrammed. Once Holister was stable, we proceeded to undo what was done to him. The neuro shunt
was removed and the programming was removed. Codename: DEATH is gone for good.
Physically Holister is well, but we can not understand why he has not yet woken up. It may have to do with unusual spikes in his Feta
waves and bio-rythms we noticed once we purged the DEATH persona.
They dropped into the red then stabled 250 (the scale is 1000).
It is almost as though he is choosing not to wake up, like he does not want to. We have tried a series of stimulants, and we still have not gotten a mental response.
If anyone upon the boards can somehow explain what is happening to Ben, please contact me.
If anyone has heard from Sarah McCalister or her daughter Molly
any information would be useful.
Thank You
Dr. Sydney Valentine; PhD.

I have his family. They are safe. I have no idea why I was asked to keep them safe (other than perhaps my contacts here in Japan). I really should use them as insurance, it could prove prudent.
As it is Mr. Holister will be re-united with his family soon. They have nothing to do with Mr. Holister's profession, therefore it would be a dishonor to keep them.
The head monk at the temple says the little girl is odd somehow. (he assured it "it's the good kind of odd, trust me")
Oh and Sheriff Holister, I hope you remember the Ashikaga are at least civil people, even if you dont care for the way we get things done.

I am only doing what honor dictates. I have no reason to dislike them.
I hope no one minds that I sent a psychologist along. (she is one of my countries best in the feild of work related stress, also trained in traditional medicine)
Unless I converted the time wrong they should arrive in a few minutes.
Who did Molly already know from Cherry Hill Temple? The head monk said she was odd - "I was scared but my friend is here now and he says you are nice peoples - blind but nice"

Doctor, I wish you hadn't attempted to remove Death from the picture, or at least, not in that way... I have a feeling that our friend is still in turmoil over the whole thing.
It sounds like Ben and Death were communicating there at the end.

Mr. KonThaak, I assure you, though his body could have withstood the punishment, his mind was begining to crack. It was for the best to undo what was done to him. Besides, there is no way the programed part of Holister could communicate with anyone, it did not function like that. His mind while under the Death persona was like a living DNA computer, designed for split second synaptic responses and lightning reflexes without the hinderence of thought process. There was no "personality" or even a conscious mind for that matter. So there was no harm in removing it. It what
was best for Ben.
Besides, it does not explain what is happening here. We adminstered a straight dose of cardio vascular stimulant right into the main artrial and still no physical response. His feta brain waves are still tetering between 200 - 300 with no real change. As I said earlier, it is as though he has just given up to the will to live.
If anything changes within the next 24 hours, I will let you all know.
I hope that there is some change.
Thank You

His soul is in turmoil. Doc's wrong about Death... He had difficulty communicating, but he was trying, there at the end... He was given the freedom to choose how to deal with people. He chose to repay that freedom by making me whole. He even spoke to me, openly. Bert was there; so was Pendragon, and Robin. They all heard it.
Pulling Death out feels almost like...murder, in a way.
But...if I'm right, then very possibly, Death isn't dead, yet. He may still be clinging to an existence within Ben's soul, and between everything, that may be the source of the turmoil.
Whoever goes to help him, please be careful... If I'm right, and Death still lingers in that soul, then it's going to be a very fragile situation in there...
The main thing, as always, is to revive Ben. Without him, Death, if he still exists, can't survive, so his existence would be a moot point.

I wonder if Ben is maybe in a odd ball dream state If he is I may be able to help more than I thought at first. Also I am sending one of my medics to check on him first, they have more experiance with weird Shit like this, and may be able to give some answers the local Doc. can't.

Ok good news Bad news time the medic I sent Agrees with the local Doctor and was able to help with getting Ben a little futher along as far as healing the wounds to his body goes. Bad news is there is something going on with his spirit his soul if you want. They were not able to get to much more than that. So I went to see if I could get any more info. Well I found something alright Holister is in some Kind of Dreamplane fighting for his life when I tried to help I got booted. I'll give details on what I saw and what happened later.
