Hello again. For those who don't know me, I'm Jack Fisher. I'm what the Prof calls a sensitive. Prof is one of the three people who run the parapsychology department and he's put together a team of people like us who have special talents. You can read the details from other posts. I use this place as a sounding board sometimes.
So, time marches on. I finally had to graduate with a degree in fine arts. Flamer graduated as well.
Good news: I joined the Alumna Art Society. That means I still have a reason to be on campus AND I can still get health insurance through the student union. Which is great because sometimes I get really banged up dealing with weird stuff.
Surprising news: Flamer was accepted to grad school. Yeah, I don't know how it happened. I was surprised, and I wonder if maybe I should apply for grad school too. Not that I would want to teach, but it would give me a better reason to be on campus.
Diviner and I are still together. Remember how I said I was going to conceal my erotic art from her? Yeah, that didn't last long. It's hard to keep a secret from a sensitive (such as myself) and it's just as hard to keep a secret like that one from a diviner. She offered to model for me, and eventually we agreed that if she models for me for those types of pictures they'll stay private, just for us to view. She's helping me run my business, and I try to pay us, but our finances are complicate.
I'm still doing art booths everywhere I can and I'm trying to get into real galleries. I've approached some other opportunities, but it's hard to break into the commercial artist world. Everyone who's hiring wants to go with the "gig economy" model. That means no benefits and I only work when they need me. Oh, and they want to have us artists bid against each other for the gigs.
Let's see. What else? Kid's still a kid. He's a bit older but doesn't have a lot of control of his powers. He can generally keep them from triggering, but he can't always trigger them when he wants to. Boxer can now cure diseases. Pixie blew off a mission to cosplay at a con. I'm the only one who knows that because I had turn over my artist's alley table to my cousin. Yes, I was at that con, Pixie knows it, she knows that I know, and she doesn't seem to care.
The group's still together. We're still defending people from stuff that goes bump.
Why am I posting again?
So Diviner stumbled over something and she thinks that something is still happening with that thing. It was a piece of leather. So if you look at the first thread I posted, it seems that Monster might still be alive. Or someone else is a monster the way he was. Or something. Yeah, it's really confusing, but what else is new?
Sometimes I wish that our powers were more straightforward. I know why they aren't, how the future isn't fixed, but just once I'd like a "Go here, do that, and you prevent this bad thing" type vision. No, I haven't had any visions on that this time, but I'm trying my best to see the pattern that Diviner detected. I'm half thinking that I should ask Pixie for help, but her powers don't lend themselves to hunting for things. She can remote view if she has to, but she doesn't get my types of visions.
So yeah, I'm still alive and kicking.

Okay, I forgot to update about that moron medium who I have labelled Shit Head (SH for short). She's was the chief organiser of an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) that involved summoning a real entity for a "ghost tour". Something that could possess mannequins and terrorise people at a dying mall. Oops, I skipped something. Of the two chief organisers she's the one that's still alive. The other one was died as we were taking down that spirit thing.
She's an entitled, self centred, half crazy woman in her early 20s. Her family has money and she wants to earn money of her own. Her spirit guide is named Eddy (short for Ebenezer) and he's half crazy himself. He died when in 1932 when he was 11. It was an accident, but he blames the accident on his sister, and SH is descended from that sister. Eddy wants to see SH punished for what he thinks her ancestor did. Like I said, half crazy. Oh, and he's still got the mentality of a preteen while he hates how SH treats him like a little boy, which another entry under the half crazy column.
So, after her ghost tour ended with deaths she freaked out big time, tried to beat up Kid, and otherwise had the team pointing guns at her. We didn't (and still don't) have a medium on the team, and we'll never work with her.
Anyway, SH has a Youtube channel (along with all the other social media channels) where she leads ghost hunters, Scooby Doo style. Some of the rich idiots who backed the ARG are with her. She arranges for spooky things to happen, but real spooky things aren't as impressive as good CGI. Yeah, real weird stuff doesn't show up as well as good special effects. A couple of episodes show her taking stupid risks and getting hurt in minor ways. I'm thinking that she's taking her spirit guide's advice and Eddy still wants to see her punished. A couple of times she's got in contact with Boxer, asking for healing, but Boxer isn't hard up for money.
Speaking of money, SH contacted Diviner, offering to pay for help finding weird stuff, and Diviner is thinking about that because as a couple our finances are complicated. The only thing is, Diviner doesn't want to endanger anyone and knows that SH could get people killed - again - without blinking. Diviner has talked to Prof about it, and his advice is that it's her decision to make but if she finds something weird the team should hear about it too.
Oh, and because SH never thinks much, she's invited Cool on her show. In case you forgot, I call him Cool because he's one of those guys who can shut down our powers. SH has proven that she's still worthy of that name. She tried to interview Kid as a "freak of nature / mutants among us" type thing. Of course Kid say no, and SH made an offer that was wildly inappropriate for someone Kid's age. Yes, SH offered to do the interview in a clothing optional environment, which freaked Kid out. Kid thought she wanted to see him nude. Yeah, he's still too young to think about how SH could be naked.
Prof found out, got the team together, including the newly recruited members. We went to have a "talk" with her, reminding her to leave Kid alone. The others talked to her in the physical world while I stayed in the van and went astral. They talked to SH, I talked to Eddy her spirit guide. Basically I let Eddy know that we aren't joking, that if SH contacts Kid again it will go very bad. I believe my message came through.
In the physical world? I wasn't paying much attention but I picked up the high points later. A couple of her cameras caught fire. Her blouse started smouldering spontaneous combustion style, which was okay because she was wearing a bikini under her clothes. Why was she wearing a bikini under her clothes? She was scouting out clothing optional places (in September?) wanted the option to wear a bikini while doing it.
Anyway, we reminded SH that she should leave us alone, but she kept insisting that she needed real stuff for her channel. She wanted interviews with all of us, wanted Diviner to work overtime to find weird stuff for her channel, and wants the fame / fortune that is her due. She even offered (again!) to let us "punish" her to make up for what she had done to Kid.
She's messed up. She's not evil the way Hunter (may he rest in peace as I don't want to ever meet his ghost) was, but either she's so self centred that other people don't matter to her or a different type of evil. She's going to keep causing trouble for herself, and probably others, but not for us. Not after that talk.
But as long as she isn't a direct threat to us we won't stop her. She's a human being. She might be special like we are, but she isn't part of the weird and the team doesn't take on normal human ugliness
Ugliness like Monster was (is?). Whatever's up with him isn't weird, unless he's a ghost. Yes, that's how life is going - I'm half hoping that Monster has returned from the dead so that he would be a target for the entire team.
As for Monster, I'm not getting anything on him. No Dreams or Visions. I believe Diviner when she says that something is going on, but I'm not picking things up.

We dealt with a minor thing. Basically, this thing was giving people in an office building the creeps. It was a very, very easy case and brought to our attention by a new member of the team. Well, the new member's roommate's cousin who had a summer intern at the building. It turned out to be a ghost (or entity) of a former employee who didn't let a fatal heart attack stop him from showing up for work. We convinced him that he had qualified for an extended health related break with full pay and benefits.
Anyway, just in case SH didn't listen, we binge watched her channel. It's trash, with poor production values, and SH is skirting Youtube's community values rules. There's no swearing but sometimes there is a lot of female skin showing. Some time it's SH, other times it's other members of the team or a guest. Think cleavage without showing nipples. Hinting at full nudity without showing it.
Here's an example. There was a show where a "witness" (someone on the team recognised her as a drama student and she was playing a part) did a re-enactment of meeting a ghost dog in her house. The role called on the actress to walk from the bathroom, after taking a shower, with wet hair wearing only a towel. At one point the towel gets dropped. The camera is behind the actress and shows her body to just above her lower back, and she isn't wearing anything. I'm not saying that she was naked or even topless as she could have been wearing something that covered her front, but it's implied that she was completely naked.
The rest of that show? They tracked down dogs that died in that house. They checked with vets and otherwise faked doing research, and found a doggy grave in a niche in the basement. A doggy grave with fresh earth showing, and that's earth on a concrete floor. They told the fake grave that it was a "good doggy" and that was that - case resolved.
The production values are better than the average Youtube video. SH has a production team, an editing team, and someone writing dialogue to help with the "reality show". They need help with plot writing and are too willing to "to there" for views. They make up Lore as they go, and contradict themselves. In short, except for the hints of nudity the show is a waste of time.
And still no sign of Monster.

So I finally got a Dream that included information on Monster. It touched on a previous vision I had - let me see if I can find a post I made about it.
Yeah, so I had another Dream about the pair. This time the kid was wearing a skirt that road up a bit, but the belting started on the seat of the skirt. If she was a bit old for spanking before she was really too old now (two years later).
Then the Dream shifted. I was still in the same house, but I was seeing things from a different angle. I was glancing away from the belting when I saw some photos. There were several frames photos, and one of the photos was of Monster!
Yeah, there's a connection here. I don't know if I'm Seeing this because there's a connection to that dead man or something else. I talked to Diviner about this, but she's not sure how it fits in with the pattern she saw.
And good news. I've finished another graphic novel. Diviner helped by editing the art, pointing out weird stuff that snuck into the artwork. It's pretty good, if I do say so myself. Set in the early days of the Great Depression it looks at a local bootlegger who set up a soup kitchen and built up an unearned Robin Hood image. Why unearned? He pressured the people eating there to "work for their supper". Men became bullyboys and enforcers. Kids were recruited as runners for the guy's number game. Nice looking girls were put to work at one of the three cathouses he ran, or trafficked elsewhere. The mix of "public good / private evil" led to his downfall; he was shot in 1930 by a man who had been forced to become an enforcer. It seemed that the man's daughter decided to work at a cathouse (she wanted money to leave the area) and that broke him. The killing happened at the soup kitchen, in front of dozen of people, but the killer was acquitted due to a lack of witnesses.
Anyway, the book's on kickstarter so I can afford to have copies printed.
In terms of money. someone has approached me (online) to do an erotic graphic novel. The outline is 90% porn revolving around a coming of age story. It would be a big chunk of cash up front, 5% of the backend of digital sales (if it sells), but it would be a huge time sink. One that I would have to conceal from the team and everyone except Diviner.
And yes, Diviner did some work for SH. Diviner went to a "haunted house", a large house (it was considered a mansion in its day) built in the late 1940s. Diviner looked around, and confirmed that it wasn't haunted. SH knew that there was nothing there, but she was hoping Diviner prove otherwise. Explanation? Eddy played some mind games with SH, hinting that a place was haunted. SH leased the place for a year and discovered that there were no ghosts. The rent money is wasted, SH was pissed at her spirit guide, and Diviner (unlike many of the women SH works with) picked up a paycheque without having to take her clothes off.

I'm not the best when it come to research, but I know the step dad's name, where he lives, etc and there's this thing called Google. Surprise surprise, Stepdad's name came up in several news articles about Monster. It seems that Stepdad is Monster's cousin. Nope, no other family members were mentioned.
Which me wondering what's happening.
Especially since I've had another Dream. Same kind of belting, but this one started with her jeans down. Her underwear stayed in place, but it was still on the creepy side, considering her age and how he's only been in her life for a couple of years.
Speaking of creeps, SH hired an actor to act the role of Kid. She interviewed him (thankfully not in a clothing optional place) and he gave the answers that SH thought Kid would give. He also talked about "sensing stuff" in that haunted house that SH rented, which is now the ghost hunters' "haunted house headquarters". The actor came off as a rich, entitled, spoiled brat who believed that his powers showed that he was a "chosen one". Some of his dialog sounded like it was lifted from Buffy and Spiderman. The only good part is that Kid doesn't follow that channel - and he doesn't know it happened.
But the stuff about SH and Monster aren't focused on the weird. There's been sightings of Graveyard Ghouls and we have to deal with them before things get weird on Halloween. In other news, Prof has a paper published "somewhere", but I don't know where, but he's pleased with it and the reception that it got.
Kid came by and asked for some creepy art for Halloween. He wants something that he can put on (or in) a binder and flash around school on the Friday before Halloween. I've got plenty of creepy artwork, but most of it is too creepy for school kids. My nightmares end up in my art, and I don't need to share them with kids, not when I can share them with sophisticated art lovers. Yes, I have a show coming up. Some of my that deals with the weird, or wasn't supposed to deal with the weird but things from my Visions and Dreams found a way into it.
And some nudity. No X Rated things, but both male and female nudity. Again I'm not pushing the sex angle, but... Okay, one painting includes a woman fleeing from a shadowy beast. The beast grabbed and ripped the top of the woman's sundress, exposing a breast as she flees from the thing. It's part of series that makes an artistic statement about pride and modesty verse what you have to do to stay alive. There's another painting one set in a bedroom, where a man pauses to dress (while his naked girlfriend runs) and a monster is clearly going to kill him. Both the man and the woman have their backs showing, but the monster is probably naked.
Anyway, Kid asked for a favour so I agreed to do some comic book style drawings. That was when Kid expanded his ask, wanting me to work in his cosplay personality (i.e. him as a superhero) to prove that the art was done special, just for him. I'd say I'd see. So as I was working on something about the level of "tales from the crypt" comics when I stopped for the night. When I looked at it the next day I saw something in the background: Stepdad's hand swinging his belt had worked itself in. Taking it out would ruin the balance of the image, and Diviner had an idea. Sometimes it's easier to keep a picture balanced by adding things than subtracting them, so the hand with the belt showed up in a few other places. Which is how Kid's "hero" got an archival: The Belt. The Belt is a villain that is a belt held by a hand, and it swings at people's butts. Kid's at around the right age to find that funny, along with fart jokes.
And that took a couple of full page drawings to a mini horror comic. Four folded pages made an eight page comic. A comic I scanned so I could print off several copies of the terrors caused by a gathering of villains. Dracula , the Wolf Man, Frankenstein's Monster, The Belt, Fart Man, and the Human Booger all come together to ruin Halloween by introducing a 90% candy tax. As in they take 90% of the candy every kid snags. It was silly, relaxing, and had just enough horror elements to make it Halloween scary. I tossed in the original request - a couple of pages of horror art - because I needed a distraction from the coming art show and trying to figure out what the hell is going on with Stepdad.
Oh, and SH is planning something big for Halloween. No idea what.

The beast grabbed and ripped the top of the woman's sundress, exposing a breast as she flees from the thing. It's part of series that makes an artistic statement about pride and modesty verse what you have to do to stay alive. There's another painting one set in a bedroom, where a man pauses to dress (while his naked girlfriend runs) and a monster is clearly going to kill him. Both the man and the woman have their backs showing, but the monster is probably naked.
Anyway, Kid asked for a favour so I agreed to do some comic book style drawings. That was when Kid expanded his ask, wanting me to work in his cosplay personality (i.e. him as a superhero) to prove that the art was done special, just for him. I'd say I'd see. So as I was working on something about the level of "tales from the crypt" comics when I stopped for the night. When I looked at it the next day I saw something in the background: Stepdad's hand swinging his belt had worked itself in. Taking it out would ruin the balance of the image, and Diviner had an idea. Sometimes it's easier to keep a picture balanced by adding things than subtracting them, so the hand with the belt showed up in a few other places. Which is how Kid's "hero" got an archival: The Belt. The Belt is a villain that is a belt held by a hand, and it swings at people's butts. Kid's at around the right age to find that funny, along with fart jokes.
And that took a couple of full page drawings to a mini horror comic. Four folded pages made an eight page comic. A comic I scanned so I could print off several copies of the terrors caused by a gathering of villains. Dracula , the Wolf Man, Frankenstein's Monster, The Belt, Fart Man, and the Human Booger all come together to ruin Halloween by introducing a 90% candy tax. As in they take 90% of the candy every kid snags. It was silly, relaxing, and had just enough horror elements to make it Halloween scary. I tossed in the original request - a couple of pages of horror art - because I needed a distraction from the coming art show and trying to figure out what the hell is going on with Stepdad.
Oh, and SH is planning something big for Halloween. No idea what.

They were shocked, but I pointed out I work in the gig economy while paying for rent and food. We discussed my rates, other artist's rates, and piracy. We briefly discussed may producing a second issue, but we agreed that it would be best if Kid did it himself.

I was going to post this on November 1, but life. Good news: by delaying I was able to add more info.
Halloween was... Okay, no one got killed. That's the good bit.
So a mixed group of teens tried something "spooky" on Halloween. Just to clarify, I'm sure that countless teens tried spooky things on Halloween, but locally a group were unlucky enough to achieve some success.
Here's how it started. A group of high school students stumbled over a ritual. No, it didn't work, but the kids didn't do it right. None of them spoke Latin, they didn't have the correct components, they didn't do things in the right order, they skipped a page or two, and basically really messed it up. There were lots of photos secretly recording things, but there's no way anyone could repeat the thing.
Why did they do it? It was a "skyclad" ritual. Yes, they were looking for a reason to get naked (or semi naked, some wore underwear, swimsuits, and some of the girls were only topless) together. Which is why people were secretly recording things. Think lots of giggles, some beer, some wine, a bit of pot, and maybe some mushrooms.
So I was dressed up in a costume (I was doctor, Diviner was a nurse) at a party on campus when I had a Vision. A bad vision. Maybe of something that had happened, was happening, or was about to happen. A Vision of a wild teenage party turning in to a real life horror movie. And I Saw enough to know where it was happening, so I could actually do something about it. I called Prof and things were in motion. The team got together, geared up, and went out. Yes, gearing up involved mostly removing costumes, but Pixie was full cosplaying and didn't have time to wash off the body paint.
The site was in an upscale neighbourhood. There was a huge backyard, where the party was happening. Call it somewhere between 20 and 30 high school students partying back there, having a legendary party. I never went to one of those parties (since for me high school was hell) but I had heard about them.
Anyway, there were cars parked everywhere. None of them were piece of shit cars I saw in my high school days. No, these were expensive cars and SUV. Our vans were the cheapest vehicles there. It might be nice to be rich. Music was blaring, covering the screams coming from the backyard.
We gear up and headed in. It was chaos. People screaming. Teens running around naked or half naked. Or not running around; some were too drunk, stoned, or so busy making out that they hadn't noticed anything. Maybe they were hearing the screams but thinking that it was just general party noise.
What was it? Shit if I know. It looked like a scarecrow, only with a mix of designer clothes. Including a bra over his coat. It was stuffed with grass (and later we found holes in the lawn, where the grass had been) and other clothes. Yes, it had Jack O'Lantern head, but it was one of many that the teens had made. Of course you can't carve a Jack O'Lantern without knives and the thing had a carving knife in each hand.
The good news? As I said, no one was dead. A couple of drunken football players had tried to take it down, like it was a tackling dummy, but tackle dummies aren't armed. They were cut up, bleeding, and falling down drunk, but alive. A couple of the girls were either cut or wearing the jocks' blood. I suppose that there could be sometime when it's good to have Empathy, but that time isn't when you're surrounded by scared teenagers.
Prof got a few readings, but only a few, before Flamer lit the creature up. My powers were boosted to the point that I hit the flaming mess with a Mind Bolt, one strong enough to knock flaming pieces loose. The thing went down. I don't know if it was a spirit or not, but I dispelled spirits, just in case.
That was about it for the Weird Stuff, but we were still dealing with fallout. Flamer focused on putting out small fires, Boxer focused on the bleeding jocks, leaving the rest of to deal with a bunch of naked and half naked teens who were still scared out of their minds. We all had to comfort the kids, with Prof doing most of the work. He used his teacher's voice, letting them know that it was okay. He made a big deal of asking who had smoked the odd smelling weed and who had been standing next near someone who had been smoking the weed that smelled odd. Between the "it didn't happen" reaction from "normal people" and Prof talking about weird weed, well most of the kids assumed the weed had been laced with something. It helped a bit when one of the kids said it couldn't be his stuff because he had smashed it into dabs before smoking it and he was sure that he hadn't left any solvents in.
But that was only working on the teens who weren't out of their minds with fear, heavily intoxicated, or both. Those people needed to be talked down. Boxer was convincing a couple of jocks that they weren't dead when a naked high school girl wrapped herself around me, kissed me, puked on me, before passing out. She slid down my body, spreading the puke as she went down. Some people can't imagine a naked teenage girl without it being erotic, but trust me, there was nothing erotic about this.
I wasn't amused, but Diviner laughed as she hosed the puke off of us. Literally hosed the puke off with a garden hose. Drunk girl didn't wake up, which had me thinking about alcohol poisoning. Boxer was mostly tapped from healing the cuts (which were all superficial) but he took a good look at her and said she was really drunk, but not likely to die from it. We had to checkout the house and no, there weren't any sign of adults in the place. The parents had left the kids to party, but I'm not one to judge. I got drunk plenty of times before I turned 21, but much of that drinking was because of uncontrolled Visions, Dreams, etc. Anyway, we get towels from the house, I change in the van (I always bring spare clothes) and we get drunk girl dry. She's in the recovery position when Prof points out something that we all should have noticed: There aren't enough clothes to go around. That scarecrow we burnt, the one that was half stuffed with clothes, well those clothes were gone and we had more teenagers than clothes. Towels and makeshift togas only went so far. The girl that Diviner had joking called "my girlfriend" was one of many that needed clothes.
Clothes we didn't have. No, we weren't hitting a thrift store on Halloween. It took a bit of staging, but we made it look as if they had a bonfire, explaining what happened to the clothes. We left them there, calling the cops over seeing some naked teens passed out on the front lawn. Yes, we dragged a couple of drunken teens to the front lawn. A couple of girls in panties and a naked jocks. We used a drone to keep an eye on things for the next while until the cops finally showed. Yes, they blared the sirens to give the teen a chance to run, only picking up the ones who lacked clothes or were too drunk to run. After that, EMT came and most of the kids got rides to the hospital. Including "my new girlfriend" whose name I never learned.
Halloween night was so crazy that the party didn't make the news. Not when there was a number of wild parties around the campus. The typical stuff happened. Drinking, underage drinking, high school kids crashing parties, weed, drug use, and so on. The one thing that stood out was mushroom and other hallucinations making the rounds. I looked around a bit and discovered that Psychonaut (a big donor to the parapsychology department) was running an experiment.
Now for the odder stuff: SH's Halloween release.
Yeah, Shit Head has once more proven that she's a Shit Head with Shit For Brains and a complete lack of a moral compass. Women running around in next to nothing. FK shown as wearing a cape (with shots implying that he's only wearing that cape), luminous body paint applied, and it was strongly implied that a couple of girls had relations with the spirit. In short she jumped the shark in a big way. In a digital effects way. No, I didn't spot them all, but there were comments about what techniques she had used and which ones she should use in the future. Specific software was named. CGI settings were discussed. In short because she tried to make it look "real" it looked fake.
Oh, it gets worse. She had a "live" element where she tried make it look like an old BBC "found footage" hoax broadcast. It was called "Ghostwatch" and fooled a lot of people in to thinking that there was a nation wide séance and other things. And the extra stuff? CPS opened an investigation of FK. Seems that having a boy running around in underwear is one thing but making it look like he's nude? That's not okay. That's catering to the Wrong People. Now FK isn't allowed "on set" unless there's a person monitoring his treatment. Yes, SH has to hire a professional to oversee FK, which means she might fire him.
Getting a kid away from that SH? That's a win in my book.

So it's almost Christmas, and not much has changed. I can't find any other people related to Monster or Stepdad. Those two men don't even look much alike. I know there are cousins who don't resemble each other, but I've got to ask myself if they were even related.
Stepdaughter seems to be normal, with a normal family (a formerly single mother and some siblings, bio dad out of the picture). She's got the typical type of social media activities, with nothing raising red flags. She's got a younger sister and younger brother, some on her mother's side cousins, and obviously no relatives on her new father's side.
And I managed have another Dream. I think it about the past, but maybe it was future. What I was Dreaming (at night) about was happening on a sunny afternoon. Stepdaughter was talking with her mother (I'll call her Mom) about Stepdad. Complaining about how he spanks her and such. She made good points (he's not her real dad, she's too old, etc). Stepdaughter pointed out that Stepdad mostly spanked girls, naming off some of her cousins and that friend during a sleepover. The thing is, Mom wasn't listening to logic. No, Mom was saying that Stepdad had every right to spank Stepdaughter and that there should be more, not fewer, spankings being handed out. And those spankings should be harder, mostly on the girl's bare butt, because growing girls need those kinds of spankings to keep them in line, and other things I didn't expect a mother would ever tell her daughter.

Now, back to the financial situation. It's looking very good. The new graphic novel is fully backed. Negotiations for the adult graphic fell apart when the client revealed that "coming of age" was code for "not all the characters will be adults". Any negotiation that includes the phrase "technically it's not illegal" is a negotiation that doesn't involve me. My art sales (online and in person) are doing well, but I'm still having issues arranging a serious show.
Diviner has done some more work for SH. She didn't find anything weird for SH to film, but passed on that SH thought she had gotten one over on us by adding FK to her show. As if the issue was her interacting with kids as opposed to how she had attacked Kid.
Christmas is looking good. Diviner and I have enough cash to be comfortable, and our families are mostly okay. Diviner's family is still stressed from financial issues, but they're pretending that everything is okay for the holidays.
Here's hoping that I don't jinx anything, but things are looking good.

Okay, I had another Dream over Christmas. This time it was something in the past. It was about something that happened on Dec 26, and I had the Dream on Dec 27. Yeah, it was of Stepdad's house, when it was full of visiting family (all on Mom's side) and friends. It was of the usual Christmas chaos, except with Stepdad handing out spankings. Things were fast forwarding so I saw a couple playful spankings, a couple of half serious spankings, and a mass spanking involve Stepdaughter, some step nieces (I guess technically they're just nieces on his wife's side), and even a couple of girls who happened to be visiting. All of the girls were teens or tweens, and all of them got pants down spankings, and if any of the boys got spanked it didn't make my Dream.
Oddly enough, the Mom barely made an appearance in my Dream. A couple of the girls wanted her to step in and end the group spanking but were told that she was out returning unwanted gifts. Later Mom checked bottoms and declared that none of the girls had been spanked as hard as they should have been, basing that on the lack of bruises. She offered to show them how hard she meant, but none of them were dumb enough to take her up on it.

Based on what she saw she's convinced that the agency already had a file on Stepdad, that several other people have filed signed complaints, but nothing will happen without some heavy bruising. Something about a state law making parental corporal punishment legal. I checked on it, and in our state it's legal to spank. Since there are tons of kids having it much worse, the "it's only corporal punishment" files are at the bottom of the pile. To be gotten to once all of the broken bones and children of addicts taken care of, which means never. Not unless a witness goes on record reporting heavy bruising or "icky step dad" stuff happening.
Speaking of the team, we got together to handle a few things. The stress of the holidays brought out some things that feed off of negative emotions, and we dealt with them.
SH did a Christmas episode. It was about the spirit of Christmas, with ghosts sharing their memories of Christmas past. It had good production values, but bad research. I could spot anachronisms. That is, some of the "ghosts" talked about things that weren't invented when they were alive. FK was there, but fully dressed and acting as a mascot.
On the home front, It was a nice Christmas. A few relatives drank too much and said things that they shouldn't. I drank too much and didn't say anything I shouldn't, but somehow I ended up painting a sketch of a girl (not Diviner) who was only wearing her bra and panties. She was drunk too, and Diviner was there (also drunk).
Still no sign of Monster being alive, or being an active dead man.

You ever have a Dream and wakeup so you can point your head off the bed when you vomit? If no, then that must be nice. I hadn't had one like that in years. Diviner helped me clean up and we talked while we did that.
Oh, and if line didn't let you know, trigger warning. Massive trigger warning. Serious disgusting things. So disgusting that I threw up because of Dreaming it. I've seen a lot of terrible things and it still got to me. Got to me and made me vomit. I'm going to skip most of the details, but just the concepts alone... I rarely use the word "Evil" with a capital E, but yeah, I'll use about what I learned in that Dream.
The Dream....
Okay, there was my Dream and Kid had a nightmare that might be a Dream. His is less disgusting so let's start with his trouble. A couple of days ago Kid had a nightmare and called me. He called it an almost wet the bed, run to the bathroom to pee, nightmare and I took it seriously enough to blow off working on some commissioned art. It meant risking missed deadlines, I went over to talk things out with him. Now I don't know if it was just a nightmare or a warning Dream, so I treated it as a Dream because, hey, plan for the worst case while you hope for the best.
Kid's dream starts when he contacts SH to get "his fair share" of the money from her channel. Yes, he's seen and decided since FK is based off him then he's owed money. He agrees to go over to their haunted house, but once he gets FK beats him up. He's getting his wind back from that when SH has someone hold him down so she can beat him. More bad stuff happens to him and Kid finally finds himself deep in an abandoned mine. He's trapped by a cave in, naked and afraid (his words), and once his only candle burns out he's going to be trapped alone in the dark until he dies.
Treating it as a Dream, I told him that if he tries to get involved in SH's channel then FK will hate him. FK might or might actually beat Kid up, but FK will fight him every step of the way. SH (and those working for her) resent the Team and will take it out on him. Would they actually beat him? Probably not, but they would make him pay with social beat downs. Making him feel worthless and giving him mental wounds that won't heal. The end? They'll walk away from him and he'll feel trapped and all alone. He won't see a way out of the mindset they put him in.
He was worried, but then I told him the good news. That it was a warning, not the future. How did the dream (or Dream) start? With him making contact with SH. If he ignores her then none of that will happen. He'll never meet FK, he'll never meet SH's production team, and they won't have a chance to mess with his mind. There's no way he'll end up trapped and alone as long as he doesn't take that first step. I also told him to stop watching "Naked and Afraid" because they never show the girl's good bits, which embarrassed him, but he agreed to stop watching it.
Yeah, Kid is starting to grow up. I'm pretty sure that he's in grade 8 which puts him in the 12 - 13 range.
That talk worked. Kid calmed down, which is good, and now I have to talk about my Dream.

I might be able to transition from being an "artist alley" type painter to one who has gallery shows. To begging people to buy my prints to selling art for $$$. The gallery has talked about including some "mildly erotic" work, because of Valentine's Day, and I'm cool with that. I'm not talking about my porn (most of that was never painted) but seductive near nudes. I'm including a painting of a couple of tweens holding hands, with its working title being "Puppy Love", but that's under the "odd art" category. See, there are implications that the girl is a werewolf. The gallery people have me painting a follow up painting, showing puppies that look a bit like wolf cubs playing around, with the tweens' discarded clothes in the picture. The working title is "Puppies Love". There's only "odd art", not my weird stuff, at least for this show. There's talk of me having more shows. If this show goes well I might get one every few months and we're saving the really weird for an October show that might or might not happen. If I sell well and everything works out I could even cut back on the porn. Maybe stop it all together. I'm really looking forward to this show.

And my online art is still selling. I'm squeezing out some custom work for the porn site, but I'm not learning Poser or other 3D art programs. That eliminates commission requests that start "I want from 3D art with <name of a standard model with a version number> naked and...", but I don't have the time to invest. At least not now. Maybe later.

I had it last night but I know that the events happened on December 28. I'm not sure if it's connected with the Feast of the Holy Innocents, but it might be. How do I know when it happened? Shrug. How do you know anything in Dreams? And I really want to write about Dreams in general but I have to talk about what was in that Dream.
The focus wasn't on Stepdad, it was on Mom. Mom, who teaches at a Community College. She was "helping out" one of her students. A second year student, who looked kind plain, was blizted out her mind. The girl was thanking Mom for giving her a place to come down. Something about keeping her family from knowing that she was using again. The girl was barely tracking and giggled as Mom undressed them both. The victim was laughing, saying that this was how she passed a math class and she wanted at least an -A for having fun with Mom.
Mom moved the clothes out of the room, which was when I noticed it was plastic wrapped like Dexter used do it on that show. Stepdad came in, naked but not ready for sex. After that.... Leather, knives, sharp metal that I couldn't call a knife but I wasn't sure what it was, and pain. Lots of blood and pain. There came a point where I knew the victim was going to die, and they kept going and making her suffer more. Speaking of leather, they took some skin off of her and I know enough about tanning to know they were making leather out of her skin. Plus I knew from the Dream, but also I've hung around enough at Ren Fairs to know how leather is made.
The pair wasn't killing the girl just for fun, but Mom really enjoyed herself anyway. No, it seems that Mom is a witch and she's trying to bring Beast back to life. She's using Stepdad as a link to Beast, seeing how they are blood relatives. Yes, I know that now, thanks to this Dream. That's why she married Stepdad, to make contact with Beast and she's been trying to bring him back since he died. Why is Stepdad going along? He likes spanking growing girls on their bare butts. The pair of them talked afterwards, and I discovered that Mom had planned on killing Stepdaughter that winter solstice. The only reason Stepdaughter is still alive is so her bum can entertain Stepdad. That's mindblowing, but I've heard of witches doing worse.
Yeah, Mom's the real villain here. That explains why Mom's cool with the spankings and wants them harder. I mean, she wants to torture her own daughter to death and that explains why Mom wants to see pain and bruises. Oh, and there's a new plan for Stepdaughter. One week after her 18th birthday Mom, Stepdad, and maybe Beast are going to kill Stepdaughter in a magic ritual lasting three days. Not because they're waiting until she's 18, no, that's when "the stars will be right" for Mom to get the most out of the ritual. Mom was complaining about not having the schedule down when the girl was eight and she wasn't waiting until the girl turns 28. Why was she going to kill her daughter when Beast was being hunted? That wasn't in the Dream.
And I know Mom is a witch. Not just because of the Dream but what was in it. The family cat came in and started to nurse at what I thought was a birthmark. She's the "nurse her familiar from her third nipple" type of witch. I think that Stepdad is just a weird pervert who's going along with things, that his only connection to the weird is how he is working with Mom. Maybe he's learning to be a witch, or maybe his dead cousin will move into his body, or maybe he'll get arrested because of the pervy shit he does before this goes much further.
Stepdaughter is probably safe enough for now, unless Mom changes her plans again. Her siblings, friends, and other family members? Who knows when Mom plans to kill them.
I told Diviner most of this while we were cleaning and changing sheets. I don't know how she does it, but she looks beautiful even when she's woken from a deep sleep and cleaning up vomit in the middle of the night. Or maybe that's just how she always looks to me. Anyway, she has brains as well as beauty. We were putting the fresh sheets on when she spotted the silver lining: Mom is a witch. She's part of the weird. She's one of the things we fight. We can call in the full team. Professor can unleash his knowledge on this.
So, let's rate this. Me having to See what I Saw in that Dream - bad.
Being able to get the team involved, calming Kid down, selling my art, and having a major show lined up - good.
The balance? Having to see what happened to victim and knowing what Mom plans to do to her own kids, that's worse than any good that happened. It made me feel unclean. I want to take a shower for my brain, but I can't. So I finished off a bottle of bourbon. Now that's not as bad as it sounds. It wasn't a new bottle; it had maybe four or five ounces left and I had a couple of fresh bottles that I didn't open. I probably would have drunk myself into a stupor, but Diviner pour some left over Christmas wine and joined me (boxed wine - the kind that doesn't go bad) and talked me through things. She kept pointing out that I wouldn't be alone this time, that even if the Team didn't want to deal with a murdering witch (which they will) she's going to be by my side, using her powers to help divine the best way to handle this. Knowing that I wasn't alone, that I didn't have to trap them the way I trapped Beast, that helped. So did the snuggling and cuddling that happened until we fell back asleep.
Sometimes I wonder what I did before this relationship, then I remember what I did. I drank too much, self medicating to wash away the bad memories. Waking up next to a beautiful woman with a slight hangover is much better than spending a couple of days in a drunken stupor.

So the team is up for shutting Mom down. Flamer is up for a witch burning. Professor said she had to be stopped when I mentioned the third nipple, but the team really got into when they heard what Mom planned to do to her own kids. The fact that she's a serial killer helps put her at the top of the list, but it's mostly that she's an evil witch.
Yeah, I said serial killer. I only saw that one murder but the team is good at research. Mom's been taking students from the community college for at least eight years. She gets to know them and she picks out the ones who people won't miss. Drug users, low level drug dealers, people with mental health problems, and others who can go missing without raising red flags. She doesn't take that many victims per year, and I use the word "people" because while she mostly kills girls she kills boys too. All between 18 and 32, with most of them in the 18 - 22 range.
As we were going over the "missing, probably sacrificed" students, Diviner discovered something and ran to the nearest trashcan. Ran to puke her guts out. Boxer did what he could, and we got her some water, and Diviner explained why she had done it. She had a Vision of Mom castrating a man and doing terrible things with his testicles. Terrible enough that she was sick over just learning that it had happened.
I'm still working up to my big show. Fingers crossed for that.

We've researched Mom. We have drone pictures of her and the outside of her house. We even rigged a drone with a Kirlian camera and found something odd about a tree in the backyard. Prof looked at it, took some other readings, and told us to work out how to pull it up by the roots. Flamer suggested burning it and forcing the flames through the roots, and that's plan b.
Pixie learned about how Stepdad spanks other people's daughters and tried to work out why Stepdad isn't in jail. Walking down their street she saw something in auras that has her thinking that maybe Mom is using magic to get them to accept what Stepdad does.
Prof and I talked it over, and I Astral Projected to get the layout of the house. Doing that still really drains me, but I can do it for longer now. Call it 20, 25 minutes. I made myself comfortable and waited until both Mom and the Cat was out of the house. I zoomed to and around the house, avoiding anything that looks odd. Odd things on the Astral plane are dangerous things on the Astral plane. I mapped the interior, avoiding some odd spots. There was something in a crawl space under the attic that struck me as bad, and who has a crawl space between the house and the attic?
The closets in the master bedroom, well hers was oozing with stuff that made a different on the Astral plane. I didn't go near it. His closet, well it had some belts and paddles that had been used so much that they had an emotional charge on them. Those emotions included pain, embarrassment, and stuff like that. Those weren't dangerous, but they felt icky.
There was an unexpected hot spot Stepdaughter's room. It was between her mattress and box spring, and it felt more like a diary than anything else. No, I can't explain the feel of a diary. I've been around enough diaries to know how they feel.
I headed back and sketched the interior. Well I did a rough sketch then did another, better version. From there I put together an e-version of it. Something that Prof can take apart and use for planning a mission. I marked out the weird stuff, including the spot in Stepdaughter's room.
Prof brought up a bad point about that. The book might be a Book of Shadow. As in Stepdaughter might be a witch in training. I'm pretty sure she's not, but that's because of all the Visions and Dreams I had, but I'm not telling the others about them. Another thing: I'm learning more about Beast now. The team is better at research than I am. They've traced his family tree, linking Stepdad to the guy. Proving that Stepdad is a blood relative to Beast. Stepdad has also been investigated for various things involving spanking teenage girls, but no actual charges.
Anyway, Mom is witch who kills people. She's the target. Stepdad is creepy enough that no one cares if he becomes collateral damage. No one wants to see any of the kids get hurt, which complicates thing. We need to be able to take out Mom (and possibly Stepdad) without hurting the innocent.

Pixie learned about how Stepdad spanks other people's daughters and tried to work out why Stepdad isn't in jail. Walking down their street she saw something in auras that has her thinking that maybe Mom is using magic to get them to accept what Stepdad does.
Prof and I talked it over, and I Astral Projected to get the layout of the house. Doing that still really drains me, but I can do it for longer now. Call it 20, 25 minutes. I made myself comfortable and waited until both Mom and the Cat was out of the house. I zoomed to and around the house, avoiding anything that looks odd. Odd things on the Astral plane are dangerous things on the Astral plane. I mapped the interior, avoiding some odd spots. There was something in a crawl space under the attic that struck me as bad, and who has a crawl space between the house and the attic?
The closets in the master bedroom, well hers was oozing with stuff that made a different on the Astral plane. I didn't go near it. His closet, well it had some belts and paddles that had been used so much that they had an emotional charge on them. Those emotions included pain, embarrassment, and stuff like that. Those weren't dangerous, but they felt icky.
There was an unexpected hot spot Stepdaughter's room. It was between her mattress and box spring, and it felt more like a diary than anything else. No, I can't explain the feel of a diary. I've been around enough diaries to know how they feel.
I headed back and sketched the interior. Well I did a rough sketch then did another, better version. From there I put together an e-version of it. Something that Prof can take apart and use for planning a mission. I marked out the weird stuff, including the spot in Stepdaughter's room.
Prof brought up a bad point about that. The book might be a Book of Shadow. As in Stepdaughter might be a witch in training. I'm pretty sure she's not, but that's because of all the Visions and Dreams I had, but I'm not telling the others about them. Okay so things didn't go well today. Not terribly bad, but not well.
Pixie knows someone who goes to that community college. She walked around with her friend, opening herself to Whatever. Yes, Pixie noticed that there was supernatural evil around, that's how Mom shows up to our powers. Boxer followed her, keeping an eye on things, and it's a good thing that he did. Pixie didn't have to glance around when she sensed Mom, but Mom's head swirled to fix Pixie with a stare. Pixie didn't see Mom looking at her, but Boxer saw it.
After that, Pixie started getting emails from her friend, saying that someone saw Pixie, thought Pixie looked cute, and wants Pixie to do a meet up. The place? A bar that I'd think twice about going to and I'm a guy with powers. There are regular brawls there and countless claims of guys putting drugs into drinks. There's no way that Pixie would be dumb enough to go there, but we made sure that she knew not to go there.
Because that's the sort of place a girl could disappear and never be seen again. We're pretty sure that Mom has met girls from there in the past and some of the girls were never seen again.
Pixie was open enough to senses that Mom is supernaturally evil, but that means she was open enough to for Mom to sense her. Now Mom wants Pixie. Making a long story short, Pixie is now sleeping on my couch. She can't sleep at her place, not when her friend knows where she lives. Her choice was me, Boxer, or Flamer, and I'm the only one with a live in girlfriend. And now, because Pixie is staying with me, I have a gun safe with a combination lock. Personally I'd go with Mind Bolt against anything supernatural, but there's always the chance that Mom could send a minion. We haven't spotted any sign of minions, but I'm not betting my life on that.
Why aren't we taking Mom out? Because we need more planning. Otherwise the headline would be "University Students Do Home Invasion, Killing Beloved Community Collage Teacher". Or something like that. Mom's a witch, but she's a human and she'll leave a body behind. Dealing with that takes planning. Some cops might call that planning evidence of first degree murder, but we see it protecting the world from a evil supernatural serial killer who happened to start off as human.

That friend of Pixie's that went to that community collage? She was run over by a drunk driver. We looked into it and it looks natural. The drunk had multiple DUI convictions and had lost his license over it. I touched the place where she died and I didn't feel that it was anything more than an accident. Plus we got a look at the friend's schedule. She was supposed to meet Mom at that bar the day after she died. That would have been the perfect place to act against that friend.
Pixie isn't taking it well. She isn't. Flamer wanted to act today, but there's Stepdaughter and her siblings to worry about. We can't just lock the doors and burn the place down, not without harming innocents. Prof says that he needs to do more research on how to kill Mom. He's worried that she could switch bodies after her death. Maybe moving into Stepdaughter or Stepdad.
This case is a bit of a mess, but at least the Team is dealing with it. Going against Beast was bad, it having the team makes it much easier this time around.

Sorry for not posting sooner.
I've got some great news! My Valentine theme art show was a success! Okay, it wasn't as good as it could have been, but it was better than I dared hope. Most of the art sold and I moved tons of prints. I'm looking at stopping the porn work. I'll complete my current commissions but I've put up a notice saying that commissions are temporality closed until I catch up on my current work. Here's hoping that page is closed for good.
The graphic novel? The one that did well on kickstarter? I'm starting to ship the physical copies to people. The ecopies have already been downloaded. Backer Kit takes a cut, but it's worth it. I already had the money from the kickerstarter, but I've paid out printing costs, and now shipping costs. Maybe I'm pessimistic, but I don't count the profit until the product is out the door. Financially I'm in great shape. I'm looking at doing another graphic novel, but I'm hold because the history department is talking about doing another. I'll have to split the profit with the university but the sales? Having the history department behind it will make it worthwhile.
So, about the case. Prof is hitting the books, the net, and a few other sources. He came up with idea of using an iron nail to hold the witch in her body. Maybe through her foot or maybe just driven into her flesh. There was talk about how to do that, because she's not going to stand still long enough to hammer a nail in. And it has to be an iron nail, not a modern steel one.
You don't just buy that sort of thing at Home Depot. I ended up calling around and touching bases with some people I know from Ren Fairs. Yes, I know metal workers, but none of them really like doing simple stuff like nails. Maybe at a Fair, in front of people, but they like doing swords, tools, and other fun things. I had to spin a lie as I called around, something about someone wanting to use "authentic material" but needing to cut down on labour by using nail guns. I finally got a guy who was willing to do cast iron nails, but he needed motivational money to do that. The Prof's budget isn't what it was pre-COVID and it won't recover until we have some equipment "destroyed" at a Frat party.
After checking our options, we contacted Preppie. In case you forgot about him, Preppie is a former team member who "went straight" after he graduated. He walked into great job because his family is wealthy and connected. He's a self-centred asshole, narcissistic rich boy, but he paid cash when I was writing his essays for him. Most of the them hasn't met him, and the ones who have are on the five year plan (thanks COVID). We're paying for iron nails that should work in the average nail gun. Here's hoping this works.
Other than that, Pixie is still sleeping on our couch. It's the only place she feels safe.

Long time, no posting. I'll fill you all in about what happened in March, April, and so far in May.
We had to take break from working on the Mom issue to deal with SH. There was a time when we all had our guns drawn, really to her kill, but we calmed down. Mostly because she's a normalish human, like the rest of us, and we aren't murderers. Maybe not killing her then was a mistake?
Why do I say that? She was the reason that her partner in the ARG, who I called Money Boy (MB) died. When she freaked out she wanted to beat Kid black and blue. Her spirit guide is an asshole who indirectly blames SH for his death and wants to see her suffer. She even indirectly called caused Hunter's death, but that racist, sexist, murdering asshole was heading to an early grave because of his murders and assaults.
In case you missed it, this how we ended up pointing guns at her. When we first met SH she had summoned something for a "haunted house tour". People got hurt and there were those deaths. Now what did she do to drum up interest in her Youtube channel? She summons something to give her production building a real something that is haunting it.
Which wouldn't have happened if we had killed her back then. Then again, if we had done that I'd be murderer and that would have changed me, so I guess it's a good thing we didn't kill her.
She summoned for a haunted house and bad shit happened. She summoned another one to help her Youtube channel and guess what? Bad shit happened. Very bad shit.
The staged start happened like clockwork. A couple of young women triggered tear apart seams on their tops, giving the viewers a view of their naked backs. SH announced that they might be about to breach Youtube's community standards and invited all the viewers to move to her OnlyFans channel. That was about 7:00 PM.
I didn't see that. I wasn't watching the Youtube channel and I don't have an account for OnlyFans. The first I knew was when Prof called an emergency meeting. I happened to be on campus, trying to get help get backing for a new graphic novel set in 1890. Some people in the history department want to do another historic graphic novel, but they can't decide who or what to do it on. I'm not saying that they are all super woke, but when you're looking at the 1890s you're going encounter what was acceptable back then and is horrifying today. Students would protest every person and event we looked at. The guy who founded a hospital and brought medical care to the poor? It wasn't open for non-whites. That new invention that helped put the university on the map? The Germans used it back when Hitler was in power. That civil rights leader? When he was in his 60s he support eugenics and forced sterilisation of women. That woman fighting for woman's suffrage? She gave speeches where she asked why white women couldn't vote when men who are <insert any minority groups> can vote. You name the person and they did something normal for the day that's now a skeleton in the closet.
In short the project can't be backed, at least not for someone from the 1890s, but that's not important. The important thing is that I was only five minutes away from Prof lab's and I was the last one to get there. All of us nearby at around 7:00? That's one of those coincidences that happen to us when Bad Things happen.
And that includes a former team member who "went straight" after leaving college. Preppie walked into great job because his family is wealthy and connected. He's a self-centred asshole, narcissistic rich boy, but he paid me well back when I was writing essays for him. Preppie was watching the Youtube channel and made the switch to OnlyFans. He contacted Prof, sharing his screen, and Prof called us all in.
When I got there that screen was being shared on a classroom's lecture screen, and it didn't look good. Half the actors working for SH were naked, and Preppie (who was on Zoom) explained that the channel description talked about some breasts and maybe glimpses of bums, but that was it. Not the full frontal nudity being shown there. And it couldn't have been planned. Maybe they could fake the terror, but no one would plan to run around nude with a tampon string showing.
The feed was cycling between several screens. I'll can them camera 1, 2, and 3, with 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 alternating as the fourth screen in the cycle - only they weren't always in sequence. By that I mean sometimes camera 4 would show twice in a row and maybe camera 6 wouldn't be shown for a few cycles, that sort of thing. Camera one was of a seance room, where the table was missing three of its four legs and the chairs scattered. The room was trashed and there was a bit of blood in one corner. Camera two had a rotating view of the main living room, where the furniture was flipped and scattered. There were two large screen TVs (4K models) that were in pieces. Camera three was in the kitchen, giving a partial view of the dinning room. A couple of drawers were open and some utensils were scattered, but it was in comparatively good shape. Camera four rotated as it showed the basement, which was normally set up for spookiness. Boxes had been split open and various things were strewn around, including some 70s porn magazines. Easy Driver, Playboy, Hustler, and some weird ones called "oriental bondage". Camera five showed an upstairs hallway. Camera six showed the master bedroom, which had been trashed. Cameras seven and eight were dropped hand held cameras.
No, I wasn't guessing at the locations, or that they were hand held cameras; there were captions on the bottoms of the screen that told the viewer which camera view was which.
That was the backgrounds, and here's what was happening. The actors and crew were panicking. Clothes had been torn and or cut off people. There was a small group of mostly nude actresses and crew members huddled in the kitchen, armed it knives and rolling pins. They were below the counter tops with their backs to the appliances, and there was fear showing in their eyes. Other screaming people rushing room to room, all avoiding the living room. The living room contained a guy, maybe 30, who was crouched down in a corner. There was toppled couch beside him, shielding a Thing from sight. The guy was whimpering as something shadowy ripped part of his shirt off. I pegged him as a behind the camera type crewmember, maybe a producer or writer, because he wasn't good enough looking to be an actor.
Prof pointed out two important facts. The first was the Thing was clearly feeding on fear (which didn't narrow things down much because a lot of weird Things like fear) and the second? Fake Kid wasn't on any the screens. We hoped that Fake Kid wasn't on site (because of the planned T&A) but maybe it meant that he was hiding some place off camera. Like maybe under a bed. SH wasn't on camera either, but we were sure that she was there.
Anyway, we armed up, grabbed the vehicles, and headed to SH's "haunted house". Preppie was now streaming the data hook up in the main van, so we knew when the feed stopped. He was also giving a running commentary about the comments the "fans" were leaving.
"Fake Effects!", "Blair Witch did it better.", "Nice ass, but why isn't anyone F'ing!?!?", "Paranormal Activity is better.", "Hey, what happened to the kid?", and stuff like that. On one hand it was good that no one was taking this seriously, that everyone was treating it as a badly done NC17 horror stream, but there was bad news there. FK was there, somewhere in the house. Diviner started going through the comments, spotting early ones mentioning FK. Things like "What the F is a kid doing on this shoot!", "Is this legal?", and things such as that. Other comments assured people that the "master bedroom" was in a different location. That started a bit of flame war over if that bedroom was in the house, but FK wasn't there now, unless he was hiding from the camera.
Once we got there, Prof did something odd; he delayed us going in until we disconnected the power. Killing the power would add to the terror inside the house, but there was no way that any of us were going to be on SH's OnlyFans channel. While the power was being killed, I used Astral Projection. Yeah, it takes a while for me to do it, but killing the power took time. My powers were boosted, which confirmed that this was Bad Stuff. Everyone (except me) is carrying a light and wearing LED rechargeable headlamps. Me, I can see because the Astral Plane is light.
Getting into the house was the next challenge. The front door? No go. The windows? They weren't breaking. We tried the three car attached garage and the one of the doors opened. Oddly enough the garage was empty. Well there were some tools and stuff like that, but no cars. The door to the house wasn't opening, but it wasn't fireproof. Flamer opened it, controlling the fire so it only consumed the door. Well he had to put out a few fires, but they in the house while I scouted in the astral plane. The first thing I noticed? Each of the cameras had an emergency light on it. The lights on the rotating cameras rotated with the camera's view.
There were screams from the kitchen. The Thing was standing in the middle of the light coming from the camera. Some of the people hiding there were using their knifes and rolling pins on something dark while the others were running. I noticed something that I had noticed too many times; while normally naked girls look great when they run (everything bouncing so nicely) but a girl running in terror is a girl running in terror. There's nothing erotic about terror, even if there is female nudity involved.
It didn't take long to figure out that this was the same sort of Thing that SH had summoned before, only stronger. The team followed the screams from the kitchen as it literally tossed its attackers away. The actors and crew scattered as the team opened up on it, Flamer hitting it hard. To make a long fight short, they destroyed the body. A sphere of energy left, I hit it with everything I had, and my mind bolt misses it. Moments later it was in the living room with a new body. We hit again. This time I wounded the Thing before it can make its escape to the garage. Once there it formed a new body from the tools and other debris. Maybe it was trying to escape, maybe it was playing with us, but we were getting drained and banged up. Flamer lost it. He grabbed the new body by its arm and it burst in to flame. The body went down and sphere of light seemed out of it when it emerged. I nailed it and the fight was over.
Later I asked why he didn't lead with that, and Flamer pointed out the heat cracks in the concrete he left in the garage. Something like that, burning in a house full of flammable things, and we could have lost the entire house.
Clean up was hard. A bunch of scared people hiding in the dark. Naked scared people. We needed to hand out "calming pills" (okay, mild sleeping pills) to get people calm and dressed. Prof explained to them why the Thing had stripped them and only left bruises: It fed on fear. He didn't explain that once they were "scared out" it would have killed them, because we wanted them calm, not panicking.
SH was nowhere to be seen. One of the crewmembers told us that when the scene started SH was in a control room on the second floor. No one knew where FK was, not even the so-called expert that was supposed to be overseeing him. The plan had been for him to wear a superhero costume and "battle" something in the master bedroom. No, he wasn't supposed to see any bums or boobs, but makeup was going make it look as if he had gotten his butt paddled. No one was saying how that makeup would be seen on the video, but we weren't wasting much time talking to them. Boxer stayed with them while the rest of us headed upstairs to the control room.
We had to breakdown the door. The room was had a UPS set to last a couple of hours. SH was inside, still working the cameras, and giggling. Pixie pushed herself (since there was nothing left to fight) and did some thought-reading. Big surprise, SH is crazy. Seriously, she thinks that she's a god or something, one courting death. She had planned on showing some adult stuff, with pain mixed in, and things had gotten out of hand. Fake Kid? Between what SH was saying and what Pixie was picking up, SH had manipulated the camera cycle so that the Thing could "handle" Fake Kid. SH was talking about the Thing breaking a hairbrush over FK's butt.
Prof and Flamer stayed with SH while the rest of us searched for FK. Diviner started working on a pattern that led us to the basement. Nope, no one was there. I centred myself and pushed to Astral Project. I zoomed around a bit, and I found Fake Kid in an crawl space leading to some plumbing. It had a dirt floor and I think it gave access to the water and sewerage pipes leading to the main. Anyway, Fake Kid was there, dirty and only wearing his jockey shorts, and scared out of his mind.
Note: Fake Kid was sacred, almost naked, and trapped in the dark. Yes, it was almost like Kid's Dream. I'm using a capital D there, because I now believe that it was a warning Dream. Fake Kid's reaction to being rescued was to kick me and curse at us for taking too long. Yeah, FK is a bully who is a "famous star" and we "need to respect him". Oh, and kept demanding to see the naked girls because he knew that they were naked and SH promised that he was going to see them in the flesh.
Here's how that ended. SH's video producer erased most of the footage filmed after the broadcast stopped. I say most, because he kept the basement footage of us rescuing FK. Him in that bad shape, talking about how SH had promised that he could see naked girls, that we saved. Oh, and the basement still had those porn magazines scattered around. We didn't take time to clean before rescuing FK and FK was so scared that he didn't notice the porn.
To make a long story short, SH got arrested for child abuse, No, FK didn't get his butt beaten, but he was in bad shape and either SH did it to him or a "monster" attacked him. Oh, and the makeup woman told the cops about how she was going to make FK butt look like it was beaten, revealing that SH planned to show FK wearing only a Spedo, letting the viewers see him and think that he was beaten.
Yeah, SH is a nut case but that recording came in very useful. FK is in a Psych Hospital for insisting that Weirdness exists and SH is facing serious charges. The rest of the crew calmed down, put someone clothes on, and everyone was happy to point the finger at SH. Most of the girls who had gotten naked were protesting that they hadn't signed releases for full nudity, just T&A, and wanted the OnlyFans archive removed until they talked to their lawyers. Luckily, the tech overseeing SH's accounts is a women in her late twenties who got all of her clothes ripped off before the Thing hit repeatedly on her upper back with a broom handle, so tonight's feed was taken down. The only bad news is the woman is too professional to kill all of SH's accounts, but the legal liabilities allowed her to kill tonight's broadcast.
And that was how we spent some of that time.
The day after that shit show, Kid showed me the comic book he did. The plot is pretty basic: Fart Man and the Human Booger have gross out contest and hero boy cleans up afterward. The art? Well it's not all that bad, but it's what you'd expect from a kid his age. I helped him get some copies printed, which was a nice, normal thing to focus on after last night's batshit crazy stuff.
Anyway, this is taking a long while to type. I'll rest up and type some more about the past few months.

We had to take break from working on the Mom issue to deal with SH. There was a time when we all had our guns drawn, really to her kill, but we calmed down. Mostly because she's a normalish human, like the rest of us, and we aren't murderers. Maybe not killing her then was a mistake?
Why do I say that? She was the reason that her partner in the ARG, who I called Money Boy (MB) died. When she freaked out she wanted to beat Kid black and blue. Her spirit guide is an asshole who indirectly blames SH for his death and wants to see her suffer. She even indirectly called caused Hunter's death, but that racist, sexist, murdering asshole was heading to an early grave because of his murders and assaults.
In case you missed it, this how we ended up pointing guns at her. When we first met SH she had summoned something for a "haunted house tour". People got hurt and there were those deaths. Now what did she do to drum up interest in her Youtube channel? She summons something to give her production building a real something that is haunting it.
Which wouldn't have happened if we had killed her back then. Then again, if we had done that I'd be murderer and that would have changed me, so I guess it's a good thing we didn't kill her.
She summoned for a haunted house and bad shit happened. She summoned another one to help her Youtube channel and guess what? Bad shit happened. Very bad shit.
The staged start happened like clockwork. A couple of young women triggered tear apart seams on their tops, giving the viewers a view of their naked backs. SH announced that they might be about to breach Youtube's community standards and invited all the viewers to move to her OnlyFans channel. That was about 7:00 PM.
I didn't see that. I wasn't watching the Youtube channel and I don't have an account for OnlyFans. The first I knew was when Prof called an emergency meeting. I happened to be on campus, trying to get help get backing for a new graphic novel set in 1890. Some people in the history department want to do another historic graphic novel, but they can't decide who or what to do it on. I'm not saying that they are all super woke, but when you're looking at the 1890s you're going encounter what was acceptable back then and is horrifying today. Students would protest every person and event we looked at. The guy who founded a hospital and brought medical care to the poor? It wasn't open for non-whites. That new invention that helped put the university on the map? The Germans used it back when Hitler was in power. That civil rights leader? When he was in his 60s he support eugenics and forced sterilisation of women. That woman fighting for woman's suffrage? She gave speeches where she asked why white women couldn't vote when men who are <insert any minority groups> can vote. You name the person and they did something normal for the day that's now a skeleton in the closet.
In short the project can't be backed, at least not for someone from the 1890s, but that's not important. The important thing is that I was only five minutes away from Prof lab's and I was the last one to get there. All of us nearby at around 7:00? That's one of those coincidences that happen to us when Bad Things happen.
And that includes a former team member who "went straight" after leaving college. Preppie walked into great job because his family is wealthy and connected. He's a self-centred asshole, narcissistic rich boy, but he paid me well back when I was writing essays for him. Preppie was watching the Youtube channel and made the switch to OnlyFans. He contacted Prof, sharing his screen, and Prof called us all in.
When I got there that screen was being shared on a classroom's lecture screen, and it didn't look good. Half the actors working for SH were naked, and Preppie (who was on Zoom) explained that the channel description talked about some breasts and maybe glimpses of bums, but that was it. Not the full frontal nudity being shown there. And it couldn't have been planned. Maybe they could fake the terror, but no one would plan to run around nude with a tampon string showing.

Camera one was of a seance room, where the table was missing three of its four legs and the chairs scattered. The room was trashed and there was a bit of blood in one corner. Camera two had a rotating view of the main living room, where the furniture was flipped and scattered. There were two large screen TVs (4K models) that were in pieces. Camera three was in the kitchen, giving a partial view of the dinning room. A couple of drawers were open and some utensils were scattered, but it was in comparatively good shape. Camera four rotated as it showed the basement, which was normally set up for spookiness. Boxes had been split open and various things were strewn around, including some 70s porn magazines. Easy Driver, Playboy, Hustler, and some weird ones called "oriental bondage". Camera five showed an upstairs hallway. Camera six showed the master bedroom, which had been trashed. Cameras seven and eight were dropped hand held cameras.
No, I wasn't guessing at the locations, or that they were hand held cameras; there were captions on the bottoms of the screen that told the viewer which camera view was which.
That was the backgrounds, and here's what was happening. The actors and crew were panicking. Clothes had been torn and or cut off people. There was a small group of mostly nude actresses and crew members huddled in the kitchen, armed it knives and rolling pins. They were below the counter tops with their backs to the appliances, and there was fear showing in their eyes. Other screaming people rushing room to room, all avoiding the living room. The living room contained a guy, maybe 30, who was crouched down in a corner. There was toppled couch beside him, shielding a Thing from sight. The guy was whimpering as something shadowy ripped part of his shirt off. I pegged him as a behind the camera type crewmember, maybe a producer or writer, because he wasn't good enough looking to be an actor.
Prof pointed out two important facts. The first was the Thing was clearly feeding on fear (which didn't narrow things down much because a lot of weird Things like fear) and the second? Fake Kid wasn't on any the screens. We hoped that Fake Kid wasn't on site (because of the planned T&A) but maybe it meant that he was hiding some place off camera. Like maybe under a bed. SH wasn't on camera either, but we were sure that she was there.
Anyway, we armed up, grabbed the vehicles, and headed to SH's "haunted house". Preppie was now streaming the data hook up in the main van, so we knew when the feed stopped. He was also giving a running commentary about the comments the "fans" were leaving.
"Fake Effects!", "Blair Witch did it better.", "Nice ass, but why isn't anyone F'ing!?!?", "Paranormal Activity is better.", "Hey, what happened to the kid?", and stuff like that. On one hand it was good that no one was taking this seriously, that everyone was treating it as a badly done NC17 horror stream, but there was bad news there. FK was there, somewhere in the house. Diviner started going through the comments, spotting early ones mentioning FK. Things like "What the F is a kid doing on this shoot!", "Is this legal?", and things such as that. Other comments assured people that the "master bedroom" was in a different location. That started a bit of flame war over if that bedroom was in the house, but FK wasn't there now, unless he was hiding from the camera.
Once we got there, Prof did something odd; he delayed us going in until we disconnected the power. Killing the power would add to the terror inside the house, but there was no way that any of us were going to be on SH's OnlyFans channel. While the power was being killed, I used Astral Projection. Yeah, it takes a while for me to do it, but killing the power took time. My powers were boosted, which confirmed that this was Bad Stuff. Everyone (except me) is carrying a light and wearing LED rechargeable headlamps. Me, I can see because the Astral Plane is light.
Getting into the house was the next challenge. The front door? No go. The windows? They weren't breaking. We tried the three car attached garage and the one of the doors opened. Oddly enough the garage was empty. Well there were some tools and stuff like that, but no cars. The door to the house wasn't opening, but it wasn't fireproof. Flamer opened it, controlling the fire so it only consumed the door. Well he had to put out a few fires, but they in the house while I scouted in the astral plane. The first thing I noticed? Each of the cameras had an emergency light on it. The lights on the rotating cameras rotated with the camera's view.
There were screams from the kitchen. The Thing was standing in the middle of the light coming from the camera. Some of the people hiding there were using their knifes and rolling pins on something dark while the others were running. I noticed something that I had noticed too many times; while normally naked girls look great when they run (everything bouncing so nicely) but a girl running in terror is a girl running in terror. There's nothing erotic about terror, even if there is female nudity involved.
It didn't take long to figure out that this was the same sort of Thing that SH had summoned before, only stronger. The team followed the screams from the kitchen as it literally tossed its attackers away. The actors and crew scattered as the team opened up on it, Flamer hitting it hard. To make a long fight short, they destroyed the body. A sphere of energy left, I hit it with everything I had, and my mind bolt misses it. Moments later it was in the living room with a new body. We hit again. This time I wounded the Thing before it can make its escape to the garage. Once there it formed a new body from the tools and other debris. Maybe it was trying to escape, maybe it was playing with us, but we were getting drained and banged up. Flamer lost it. He grabbed the new body by its arm and it burst in to flame. The body went down and sphere of light seemed out of it when it emerged. I nailed it and the fight was over.
Later I asked why he didn't lead with that, and Flamer pointed out the heat cracks in the concrete he left in the garage. Something like that, burning in a house full of flammable things, and we could have lost the entire house.
Clean up was hard. A bunch of scared people hiding in the dark. Naked scared people. We needed to hand out "calming pills" (okay, mild sleeping pills) to get people calm and dressed. Prof explained to them why the Thing had stripped them and only left bruises: It fed on fear. He didn't explain that once they were "scared out" it would have killed them, because we wanted them calm, not panicking.
SH was nowhere to be seen. One of the crewmembers told us that when the scene started SH was in a control room on the second floor. No one knew where FK was, not even the so-called expert that was supposed to be overseeing him. The plan had been for him to wear a superhero costume and "battle" something in the master bedroom. No, he wasn't supposed to see any bums or boobs, but makeup was going make it look as if he had gotten his butt paddled. No one was saying how that makeup would be seen on the video, but we weren't wasting much time talking to them. Boxer stayed with them while the rest of us headed upstairs to the control room.
We had to breakdown the door. The room was had a UPS set to last a couple of hours. SH was inside, still working the cameras, and giggling. Pixie pushed herself (since there was nothing left to fight) and did some thought-reading. Big surprise, SH is crazy. Seriously, she thinks that she's a god or something, one courting death. She had planned on showing some adult stuff, with pain mixed in, and things had gotten out of hand. Fake Kid? Between what SH was saying and what Pixie was picking up, SH had manipulated the camera cycle so that the Thing could "handle" Fake Kid. SH was talking about the Thing breaking a hairbrush over FK's butt.
Prof and Flamer stayed with SH while the rest of us searched for FK. Diviner started working on a pattern that led us to the basement. Nope, no one was there. I centred myself and pushed to Astral Project. I zoomed around a bit, and I found Fake Kid in an crawl space leading to some plumbing. It had a dirt floor and I think it gave access to the water and sewerage pipes leading to the main. Anyway, Fake Kid was there, dirty and only wearing his jockey shorts, and scared out of his mind.
Note: Fake Kid was sacred, almost naked, and trapped in the dark. Yes, it was almost like Kid's Dream. I'm using a capital D there, because I now believe that it was a warning Dream. Fake Kid's reaction to being rescued was to kick me and curse at us for taking too long. Yeah, FK is a bully who is a "famous star" and we "need to respect him". Oh, and kept demanding to see the naked girls because he knew that they were naked and SH promised that he was going to see them in the flesh.
Here's how that ended. SH's video producer erased most of the footage filmed after the broadcast stopped. I say most, because he kept the basement footage of us rescuing FK. Him in that bad shape, talking about how SH had promised that he could see naked girls, that we saved. Oh, and the basement still had those porn magazines scattered around. We didn't take time to clean before rescuing FK and FK was so scared that he didn't notice the porn.
To make a long story short, SH got arrested for child abuse, No, FK didn't get his butt beaten, but he was in bad shape and either SH did it to him or a "monster" attacked him. Oh, and the makeup woman told the cops about how she was going to make FK butt look like it was beaten, revealing that SH planned to show FK wearing only a Spedo, letting the viewers see him and think that he was beaten.
Yeah, SH is a nut case but that recording came in very useful. FK is in a Psych Hospital for insisting that Weirdness exists and SH is facing serious charges. The rest of the crew calmed down, put someone clothes on, and everyone was happy to point the finger at SH. Most of the girls who had gotten naked were protesting that they hadn't signed releases for full nudity, just T&A, and wanted the OnlyFans archive removed until they talked to their lawyers. Luckily, the tech overseeing SH's accounts is a women in her late twenties who got all of her clothes ripped off before the Thing hit repeatedly on her upper back with a broom handle, so tonight's feed was taken down. The only bad news is the woman is too professional to kill all of SH's accounts, but the legal liabilities allowed her to kill tonight's broadcast.
And that was how we spent some of that time.
The day after that shit show, Kid showed me the comic book he did. The plot is pretty basic: Fart Man and the Human Booger have gross out contest and hero boy cleans up afterward. The art? Well it's not all that bad, but it's what you'd expect from a kid his age. I helped him get some copies printed, which was a nice, normal thing to focus on after last night's batshit crazy stuff.

After helping Kid finish his comic, I had a Dream. A bad one. A "wake up and reach for a bottle" Dream. No, that's not it. Make that "wake up screaming and reach for a bottle". Some of this was typed up that night, when I was shaking, drinking, and fighting not to vomit. And yes, I have drink near as I type this up.
That screaming bit freaked Pixie out (she's still sleeping on our couch to avoid the evil witch I named Mom but now I'm going to rename Witch). Seeing me dive into a bottle, that freaked her out more. Diviner explained what was happening, which really freaked Pixie out. She's a Sensitive, like me, and sees me as a mentor. Seeing me getting messed up from a Dream, and knowing that some day she might start getting the same kinds of Dreams, that frightened her to her core. Diviner hadn't seen me this bad before, and Pixie freaking out? That didn't help her deal with my issues.
Diviner and Pixie shared some wine (finishing off a mostly box of wine that was more than half empty) while I typed up my dream and got drunk.
The Dream? SH's broadcast and arrest made the news. What I saw was A future, hopefully not The future. And it won't be, at least if I have anything to do about it. Call it a warning Dream, the same kind that Kid had about what would happen if he tried to get money out of SH. A future where Witch (formally Mom) took inspiration from SH's arrest to installed hidden cameras throughout her house. It was the Monday before July Fourth and Stepdaughter was having a big sleepover. Those cameras had been in place for weeks, allowing Witch to see most of those girls changing in Stepdaughter's room or in the bathroom. Letting her use those images to window shop.
Stepdad hadn't patted a butt since mid May, even when Stepdaughter and friends had done things that normally "earned" spankings. That allowed Stepdaughter to think maybe she had outgrown getting spanked. One of her friends even cursed Stepdad out and he barely reacted, lulling them in to a false sense of safety.
Which was a set up for the sleepover on Monday, July 3, which isn't going to happen if I have to kill people to make sure that Dream doesn't come true. At about 2:20 AM (technically on July 4th) Stepdad "lost it", as planned. Planned and offered this sleepover as a reward for going over a month without spanking any of the girls he might have spanked. The reward? His belt came off and bare bums started getting smacked hard. Stepdaughter had to stay but some of her friends took off running. A certain cat (the witch's familiar) guided one of them to a guy who liked young girls, who tossed her in his van and drove away. I think that Witch arranged (or will arrange; past, present, and future gets weird after one of those Dreams) for him to be there with his van when that girl ran into him. Anyway, he will be the scapegoat.
Witch intercepted a couple of the girls. Girls that she had picked after seeing them naked. Hell, I need more booze just remembering this. Witch offered to drive those two girls home but drove them to one of her murder spots.
Those girls were (are?) just kids! Witch put them in dog cages and was home in time to deal with calls from outraged parents. Only they weren't too outraged, not with Witch working her magic. Stepdad was bad, but when Witch focuses her magic to help him the parents are more apologetic than mad than Stepdad had beaten their daughters. Yes, I saw Stepdad bouncing his favourite belt off of several bare bums. I'm not a parent and I've been told that non-parents can't have an opinion when it comes to the spanking debate, but those girls were too old for it to be "just discipline". Stepdad really enjoyed himself as bare bums turned red and mostly naked teenage girls sobbed their eyes out.
But I wouldn't need a bottle for that.
Early on the fourth the guy with the van was caught with pieces of the girl he grabbed. He fired a gun at cops, they fired back, and the Dream didn't tell me if he survived or not. If he lived then he was in critical condition. Anyway, pieces of the girl were found and had been wearing (or carrying) some clothes or maybe bracelets belonging to the two missing girls. He got tagged as killing all three girls. Yeah, he is a monster, but he's human who didn't mean to kill the girl. Things got out of hand, she died, he cut her up, and was out hiding parts of her body when he got pulled over. Maybe I can steer the team at him or otherwise stop him. Yeah, I think I can get the police after him. He's not as careful as Monster was and I'm sure I can put him in jail.
But once all three girls were "officially dead", Witch...

Witch did things that I'll never be able to forget. When death came it was a mercy. She had them in parts before they died. She spent hours inflicting pain. When they died they somehow fuelled her magic. Her cat was there, and I think that maybe he caught a glimpse of me. That cat is going to die. It has inhuman hungers. Witch sliced bellies open and cat crawled inside when they were still alive.
What I saw... I have to stop it from happening. If I don't stop I'm going to become an alcoholic or an opioid addict. That wasn't part of the Dream, but I can't live with myself if I let that happen. No, that future doesn't get to happen.
Yes, I had to get a bit drunk to write this because I had to think about what I Dreamt. Anyway, later that night I woke up to pee and discover that Pixie was in bed with us. Nothing sexual, just huddling together for warmth and comfort. This meant that I ended up on the couch because there's a difference between passing out with an extra girl in my bed and knowingly joining two girls sleeping together. Yeah, sometimes I get to act like a nice guy.
Next morning, it was a bit awkward when Pixie and Diviner woke up cuddled together, but not as awkward as if I had still being bed with them. After sobering up a bit more (I had really tied one on) I got put together and Diviner drove us to the campus. I unloaded on Prof, who saw how much the Dream hit me. He assured me that we would handle things before July. Breaking things down in his mind, Prof decided that it had to happen during the school year to limit the number of innocents in the house. Only it would be hard to work around, what with Witch being a community college teacher.
By now we had some iron nails from that guy I know from Ren Fairs. Well, call it a couple of hundred. After that Dream I insisted we put Witch case on the front burner. We got a hold of various nail guns and tested those iron nails. Some types of nail guns worked better than others. We stocked up on those ones (even though they aren't 100% reliable) and got to work, the rest of the team now knowing about the deadline of three girls dying on July 4th.
We can send iron nails into Witch, trapping her in her body. We have a bunch of real guns that can't be traced to us. We can drop Witch, but we don't know if we can drop her without getting arrested for murder.
I don't want to be arrested. There's no way I could survive in jail. Just touching the walls in a prison, no, I couldn't handle all of those negative emotions. The thing is, if the only way to stop that future from happening is walking up to Witch and killing her in front of a dozen witnesses, that's going to happen.
But that was in the past. It's just that thinking about that Dream, remembering it, I need to take a break now. And drink. And do some cuddling with Diviner. And spring for a night out at the movies. Not for me, I just want Pixie out of the apartment for a while.
I suppose there is some good news. Stepdad isn't going to hand out any spankings until July 3rd. That has to count for something.

Re: An update on things
Okay, so planning took longer than I thought it would. We have a hard deadline, we have to be done before school breaks in June or there will be kids around. We had the iron nails and nail guns that can fire them (most of the time). We have iron spikes and hammers. Prof has researched how to kill her, and has decided that we have to kill the cat first. Kill it, and have me in astral space ready to deal with whatever comes out of that cat. We've got an idea of the schedules, not just for that household but for their neighbours as well. We've got a time slot that works, but we don't know if Witch will be there when we will hit.
Diviner came up with a plan, but she couldn't share it with the team. I figured out what her plan was, but I couldn't share it. I used Telepathy with Diviner to confirm it, and neither one of us wanted to bring that up.
Pixie saw what was happening. I think she might have read Diviner's thoughts. She couldn't read mine, I Mind Block when people try to do that, but there are times that Diviner's mind can be an open book. Anyway, Pixie spoke up, since she could say it. Neither of us could say because it would Pixie at risk, but Pixie was accepting that risk when she spoke up.
What was the plan? Pixie uses herself as bait to lure Witch to her own house. That's where it had to happen, in Witch's house. That was the only place we could be sure that we could kill the cat first. Things could get loud, but a portable sound system could counter that. The right selection of rap and metal could cover most battles. It helped that Witch and Stepdad sometimes had music blaring to mask what was happening when Stepdad was belting butts.
Pixie called Witch, said that someone had passed her a message that Witch wanted to get in contact with her, and asked if Witch had any pull at the university because Pixie needed someone to put in a good word with a prof to get her an extension on a project. Pixie claimed that she didn't want to meet where anyone (especially another student) could see them, so wanted to meet at Witch's house.
No, it wasn't an extension for a course this term. Pixie has to take some classes this summer because of COVID. One of her classes has a killer project that's due halfway through. It's a gatekeeper course and there are never extensions for that project. As in never. Screw up that project and you fail the course. If you fail that course it's a good thing because you were never meant to work in that field. Here's hoping that Pixie can pass it, out she'll have to switch majors.
Diviner would love to take a few classes, but she's in "must get a summer job and pay my share of things" mode. She's already got an excuse lined up for taking the day off when we go after witch: Diviner is on a wait list to get a cyst checked out at the Student Health Centre. Yes, she has one, but Boxer looked at it and told her it's harmless. He's going to do Psychic Surgery to take care of it, but her ultrasound is on file at the health centre. Sometimes cysts fade on their own, I guess.
What else? Okay, the guy with the van? Prof decided that since he was allied with Witch we should take him down. I drew his picture and we found him on via the web. It was easy since he's already the offender's list. I worked at having a Vision and saw him in the bleacher at a local high school, watching a female soccer team practice. It was in the future (or a future), so it was easy to set him up. All we had to do was wait for the day and get campus security to check on the guy. That was easy; a single guy who wasn't old enough to be someone's dad hanging around and watching high school girls practising tends to stand out
He's in jail now for violating the terms of his probation. Unfortunately, the Vision also showed that the guy with the van had access to some nudes of Stepdaughter and her friends. Yes, Witch was already in contact with him, arranging for him to be her patsy. Which might mean that she's going to find a new patsy. It also might explain why he was fated to get into a shootout with the cops.
Anyway, the cops will search his electronics, find those (and other) photos of naked girls and maybe they'll track down Witch. Or maybe the other parents will find out that someone has nude photos of their girls. It would be nice to think that the cops will take Witch down (the way they took down SH) but I don't think that will happen.

No, we haven't taken Witch down yet. A couple of other things happened and I thought I'd share.
I've been so busy focusing on Witch that I haven't mentioned that I have a new show happening. It involves Spring. Mostly nature scenes and people in nature scenes. There is a bit of nudity, but mostly implied nudity. A few bums and the sides of bare breasts, but no nipples or full frontal nudity. There's less nudity in this show than the last time, but this is Spring, not Valentine's Day/ Some of paintings are a bit erotic, but in a playful, spring like way. There are kids in some in some the art, but there are no pieces that include kids and nudity. The people behind the show suggested I show some nude splashing around, with their nude bits under the water, but I'm not including anything like that. First, I don't need to skirt that line, and second, I'm not the best when it comes to including children in my art.
Seriously, when it comes to drawing people children can be a difficult to nail. Their heads and faces have different shapes. Their body proportions shift as they age. I'd need to work with models and I'm not going to get kids to do nude modelling. I could do that, all I'd have to do is call an agency had have privately paid social worker on site to make sure the modelling session doesn't get weird. Sure, I'd have to pay the models and the social worker types, and deal with the stage door moms, but I could swing it if I wanted to refresh my skills where nude children are concerned, but I don't want to include that element in my work. At least not until I'm more established.
And yes, there are some weird pieces there, or pieces that have a few weird elements. I can't help it. Or I can but I can't afford the time to remove those elements from the artwork. It's not enough just remove the weird elements, I have to rebalance the rest of the artwork with the theme and -
Okay, enough art theory. I'll leave at having another major show. Well, major for me. The up coming shows? Summer, Autumn, and Halloween. Maybe Thanksgivings and Christmas as well? We'll see. Crossing my fingers.
Something odd happened with Pixie. She "accidentally" left the bathroom nude when I was probably going to be out. She had worn something over her hair, so it wasn't wet, but that was the only part that wasn't. Her entire body was glistening, beads of water were gathering on the underside her breasts, her - well, I'll leave it at she looked the most erotic that I've ever seen her.
At least until I spoke and her face feel. I'm not sure if I meant to do it, or if the cosmos wanted me to know something, but at that moment my Empathy kicked. I knew what she was feeling, and she wasn't embarrassed. What did I say?
"You might want to put Mind Block up before you try to fool another sensitive. Now get some clothes on or you're going to be crashing on someone else's couch. Oh, and another hint? Never go after a guy who's dating a diviner. Now get your ass covered before I do a nude painting of you, or maybe put paint on your nude body."
Pixie blushed, almost burst into tears, and darted back into the bathroom. I sighed and left, meeting up with Diviner before she got home to let her know what happened. I mean, she stumbled over my former erotic art site without trying to. I'm not going to hide this from her.
Diviner did a few things, call them divining things, and worked out that Pixie saw me a daddy figure who would protect her, even at the expense of my own mental health. She thought that because I had that horrible Dream that sent me to the bottle. After that, Diviner told me to stop laughing, but I couldn't. I mean, how could anyone think that I would subject my mind to that filth if I had a choice? I might do it for a child or someone I really loved, but that's a big might. I would never have willingly had that Dream just because Pixie's life might depend on us stopping Witch. I probably would have, because that's how my powers work, but I never willingly seen all of those gory details.
I eventually stopped laughing. We talked and I sent a slightly dishonest text. Call it a lie by omission. I let Pixie know that I had run into Diviner and now Diviner knew everything. I left out the part where I planned to meet her and told Diviner what happened.
Diviner went home first, I stayed out until I got a text from her. Pixie was still there, still sharing our couch, but face looked as if she had spent an hour bawling her eyes out. I was picking up those feelings, not that I wanted to, but I am who I am. Pixie apologised, I accepted the apology, then Diviner chimed in to say that if Pixie tried that again with her being there then someone would beat Pixie's ass black and blue. I laughed that off, but I'm now I'm not sure if the two of them are up for something or not.
Lastly Kid wants me to put together a real horror comic. He's seen some of my more disturbing artwork online and he wants something like to gross out his friends. He even wants some nudity in it, as if that's going to happen. But it gave me an idea, one I took to the History Department. There are no real heroes from the 1890s, but what about villains? That's going a crime / horror comic, one that's a summer job for some of the students.

Okay, we're set up for Operation Kill the Witch. It's happening very soon. Luckily, on a weekday. Yes, I'm still hitting weekend cons, doing day work at Ren Faires, and the rest. My art show is going good, but I have to earn money where I can. The art shows mean that I can stop doing the erotic art, but I still need cash flow.
Yes, Diviner has a summer job. Yes, she's insisting that she kick in on the rent. The good news there is that she and Pixie seem to have worked out things.
The historic graphic novel has been green lit. I'm "the boss", on paper, but a tenured professor in the history department is in charge. There's paperwork detailing who gets paid what. The size of the initial print run, the next print run, and so on. It's basically the same as the first graphic novel. I've got a History student doing the research and an Art student to help with the drawing. I guess I'm doing the writing and picking up the slack for the other two. The subject is a "respectable" man who was revealed as a long time criminal.
The guy was a "respected" merchant who was connected with:
Making moonshine {illegal), bootlegging {illegal), the opium trade (something that was never "respectable"), secretly owned a licensed brothel (legal at the time, but not respectable), secretly owned unlicensed whorehouse (illegal), and human trafficking (illegal). He was also suspected of fathering children on some of his female servants and involved in blood sports (cock fights, dog fights, etc), things that would keep him from being seen as respectable in the 1890s. The guy was also a racist misogynist who hated Jews and Catholics, which makes him a perfect villain for our graphic novel. That last bit was almost standard for that era, which is why we can't find a hero from back then.
I did a bit of a comic up for Kid. Not a horror comic, but something close. It was a bit worse (or better?) than I planned because I didn't take the time to remove the creepy stuff that creeps into my art. Basically, it was the villains from the original one taking over a sleep away camp and turning it into a series of comical death traps. None of the campers actually died because the superhero was able to save them all while letting the villains escape. The extra stuff? Scary witch faces hidden in the trees or bushes. More than a few outlines of Stepdad spanking bare bottoms worked themselves in, not his face but him smacking rounding butts. Demonic faces in the backgrounds. Things like that.
I put it into a PDF (knowing it would be shared online despite the registered copyright I paid for) and the last page is printing instructions. Kid can take that to any print shop and get as many copies as he can afford. He's talking about printing between 30 copies (one for every kid in his class and some to spare) to 100 copies (to give or sell to more people).
Anyway, the plan is place. The date is set. Wish us luck.
