Well I heard back from Carter. The "vampire" situation was a bust. Turned out it was just some lunatic who saw one too many Bela Lugosi movies. So he's ok and will headin' back as soon as the weather gets better.
Seems even the most interestin' leads with a legit source often turns out to be more debunkin' than an actual threat. I suppose all in all that can't be too much a bad thing I reckon.
