It has begun.

Post by Cameron Thorne »

It has begun. All around you the signs stand forth like candles in the darkness. Like those candles you are being snuffed one by one by one.

I have see these events. I have warned you all before.

I have seen the death of Sarah Caliburn; and Ron Caliburn as well.

I felt the rage and madness the entity that attacked Azrael.

I saw the face that you did not Natasha.

I know a hawk circles above you Ghostspider.

I have seen your untimely death Nemesis by trusted hands.

I have seen this and more; much, much more. With a heavy heart I saw the deaths of other members by the will of this presence. Its existance lingers across the boards like the cold embrace of death itself.

It is no coinsidence all of these incidents are happening at one time.
Your society is weak, and grows weaker. It grows stronger.

"That which is dead can forever lie,
And with strange eons even death may die.
With every breath the air grows stale,
Deathly cold winds howl and wail.
Raging thunder pounds like drums,
When somthing wicked this way comes."

These word plaque my sleepless night and haunt my every waking moment.

Heed these words as true gentlemen. A viper lurks amongst you, waiting for the right moment to strike.

You have been warned.
Sometimes the truth is more horrific than the lie.

Then I will live forever.

Because I trust no one.

Not even myself, these days.

I wouldn't be so fast to dismiss this guy. He may be a morbid lil' emmo who loves to preach death and darkness, but he's been right alot of the time.

Too bad he never actually meets anyone of us face to face. :x

Don't even know if we can fully trust him.

Trust no, Mr. Hollister. It remains the best policy.

And I hope this guy is batting 100 because my immortality is secure so long as I trust no one.

Oh, and I'd just like to add,

Mr. Caliburn is not dead yet.

Nor will he be if I have anything to say about it.

Cameron, would you consider writing a sports column? I like your prose, and I would be interested in your prediction.

The “embrace” of death is just that, Cameron . . .

Post by Eilonwy Solstice »

The “embrace” of death is just that, Cameron . . . to me, anyway: an embrace. Warm, loving, and full of mercy.

I’ve seen visions too, and they haven’t always come to pass. You were wrong about me, so hopefully, you can be wrong another time as well. We’ve been preparing before you warned us, and we’ll continue to prepare after. And thank you for not sitting on your knowledge. It’s far better to warn and do what you can then to do nothing at all.

Perhaps it will be the “form” of Ron that meets his end.

They do not forgive. The do not forget. Your's is a face that still burns in their maddened mind.

DO NOT consider a momentry reprieve as retribution Miss Solstice. The final piece lies with you and they are coming.

GET RID OF IT NOW!!!

Let them have it unless you be dammed for eternity as one of them.

I never have, Cameron.

I’ve been damned before, and I know how to be damned—and to avoid such a fate as well—again.

They won’t.

_____Hi, Mr. Cameron. Would you please stop shouting at Miss Eilonwy—sorry, Eilonwy? She’s just trying to help, and shouting such awful things at her won’t help.
_____P.S. I’m not a gentleman, so should I heed these words still?
_____P.S., again. I’ve seen candles turn into big fires, too.

These “predictions” were vague . . .

Post by Eilonwy Solstice »

Cameron Thorne’s “predictions” were vague enough they could be proven “true” in any number of ways. I’ve seen all our deaths in dreams as well. It’s a fact of life. People die. People live. The future isn’t set in obsidian yet; he never saw himself dying, yet he has. Or so we have been led to believe. If dark things come to pass . . . we’ll deal with them the best we can. And if light continues to bathe us . . . well, I am blind.

It doesn’t make much difference to me whether I live in the darkness or the light. I still prefer the sunshine.

Quite true. For example, one might make the argument that the old Nemesis has 'died' and at your hand, Miss Solstice. I wouldn't make that argument, but some might. Certainly it seems that she trusted you and has become a different person. Although recent events cause me to question that change.

If it’s all the same to you, Cyber, I’d rather not. Some of these dreams have been nothing but that—dreams. Then there have been other dreams that are more than that—dreams. there are dreams, then there are dreams. The dreams I can change for the better, I try. The dreams that I cannot, I weather.

But I will say this: if I ever get a dream about any of your deaths, I’ll do what I can, the least of which is sharing it in an effort to avert it.

And Shadow: I hope you are here for a long, long time. Welcome back, if you were ever gone in the first place.

Good to see ya' alive and well Wie. Where ever ya' are watch ya' back. I think that someone may be after you. I'm not sure, but your name was mentioned as I was being tortured back when I was captured.

As for Thorne, he was one pessimistic, emmo SOB that had the term " Doom & Gloom " down to a science. I hate to admit this, but most of ya' psychic " prophecies " are nothing more than what the person hearin' them wants to hear or what they choose to interperet them to mean.

Heck, cordin' to him, I should've been killed by now by a friend,
so that's proof his visions and prophecies weren't worth the time to post them.

Now the shaman that lives outside of town, he's a bit creepy with the accuracy of his visions. He told me once just before I left to go to Wyoming that "The secret to the cure lies within you."
Whatever the heck that meant.

Anyway, these prophies and visions should all be swallowed up with a grain of salt (& a shot of Jack). So Poig Mo Hoin and happy huntin'.
