Ted emailed this to me, decided to share.

If only people wouldn't do these stupid things - we might have to bust down a few less doors in the middle of the night.

You traded in your wings
For everything freedom brings
You never left me
You never let me
See what this feeling means

Everything that you feel
Is everything that I feel
So when we dream
We shout....

It's no joke, too many people come away with a santized, hollywooded view of the monsters that are really out there - lose the good sense to prepare themselves properly and to run when they need to.

Most people are stupid, bleating sheep. A sad but true fact.

actually can you just immagine the chaos that could erupt if the entire world actually all knew what we were doing? remember that individual people are smart.....large groups/crowds are panniky frightened things. and with the general public being more aware of the nightmares out there that would just spread more fear for them to feed on making the monsters more agressive and making our work even harder.
lets get metaphysical

Unless, as Dr. Lazlo pointed out, people were properly educated on the subject, and knew what to do when around these things.

He spent his life trying to educate people on the subject. I try to do what I can, with those I know I can reach, but that tends to be a bit of a limiter.

I once had a friend who said the overall intelligence of a group can be estimated by figuring out the intelligence of the dumbest person, then subtracting that number by how many people are in the group. Which means the bigger the group, the lower the potential intelligence.

Angel and Szatowski are right. You get more than three people together in a group, and no matter how well educated they are, the herd mentality will take over. There are exceptions (present company), but not many.

Ignorance is bliss for these people. Lets leave them like that.

I'd rather they were frightened and could take proper care of themselves than be blissful and become victims.

Frightened, and take proper care of themselves. Now there is a contradiction in terms.

You are seriously overestimating humans.

Which would explain his "humans as third person" dramatic delivery.

As for "frightened" and "proper care", do the second first, and you won't be caught off guard with the first. Besides, true bravery is fighting WHEN you're scared, not just not being scared in the first place.

No Pendragon, I have not forgotten who I was. It's just...I wanted answers to who I've become, but I didn't realize how much those answers would change me.
