Who I am is an old, old friend of Dante's Grandfather, owner of a rather succsesfull gentleman's club, protector of some stupid trinket and most recently Dante's protecter aswell.

Shame none of this can be proven until Dante returns which could take a while oh and I doubt that he would show up again online seeing as far as the memories are concerned he's somewhere in 1940-1942, the Internet wasn't exactly common back then.

I'm traveling out to the south of Germany though, near Ulm might find something there, I hope.

I was confused. I thought it was his memory.

I know, this trinket leads to a lot of confusion.

As far as I understand the trinket records the memories of all the people who have had it in them (the trinkets host), when they (the host) can't act due to one of a number of reasons(fear being the main one though also depression and a generally feeling of can't be bothered have all been subject to the memories kicking in aswell) the trinket uses those past memories to protect the current host.

It just so happens that the one who had the trinket before Dante was his Grandfather and according to the trinket it would seem that he was at his most usefull whilst he served in the army during WW2.

Though I never realised before that the trinket recorded memories that have already happened, this changes quite a bit. Looks like I'm going to have to rewrite that entire section in the book now as Dante's Grandfather didn't have the trinket back then.

Sorry about not being clear on that I still haven't figured it out completly myself though as its hard to study something like this when you really really don't want to and you get so few chances to study certain parts of it aswell.

So . . . let's dig up his service record, find out what he did and where he did it and hope he doens't mistake any little old ladies for SS Stormtroopers in the meantime.

Odd question, who here has met Dante? It couldn't hurt to have him see someone he knows.

Bert and I have, I know. But would Dante recognize me now?

I have not.

In fact, I may not have been detained while he was active here.

I met him during that dust up in Maine. I am willing to try and help find him and see if we can get him back.
Eilonwy If you are willing, and want to help I can have a plane waiting for you and meet you in Germany? Then we can find TG, and Hopefully Danta soon afterwards.

Oooo, total name-related burn!

Besides, compared to some areas in Europe, Jersey WOULD be a vacation paradise.

Doesn't seem to be working.

I find it ineteresting he's working in Europe in what he thinks is a pre D-Day time frame.

He could be planning a sabotage attack agaisnt a railway or an assasination or something.

Are we sure he's fighting Jerry?

Maybe he thinks he's Russian?
