We're packing things up and the machines are undergoing their final checks. I can't say where we're going, but it's a follow up on some earlier work.

Debunker, arrangements have been made for you to tour the facilities while I am gone. I've also managed to wrangle special permission for you to examine the wrecked vehicle and some of the samples brought back. Details have been PM'd to you.

I just have to tie up a loose end and finish a report I'm working on about the supposed hauntings at Devils Tower in South Dakota and then I'll be heading out.

Your powers of prediction display more psychic intuition than any "Medium" or "Gifted" individuals I've ever run across. Indeed you are correct, there was a very elaborate tour courtesy of Mr. T. King (again I thank you for your generous offer, tour and hospitality) but it was all an elaborate hoax in every sense of the word.

The REC Facilities looks and seems very much a legitimate business, and the manufacturing plant they gave me the grand tour though (the electronic components plant) was running full steam ahead and makes quality gear and I was fine with all that. Then they took me to tour what they affectionately referred to as the "Special Projects" area.

Out of protection to REC and T. King I wont go into exact details with what all I saw, but I can say that I would call their projects "very questionable" material. They acted more like some kinda neo-scientific mercenary operation than dedicated Psychic Investigators.

Its here the big smoke screen and mirrors magic show commenced, they tried to lure me with various “samples” they brought back from previous exploits, and they shared with me a lot of their special equipment. They’re nothing to get into a hissy fit over, actually it’s the usual suspects here including distraction, big & fancy words and "highly questionable theories", but they did it all very well. But make no mistake; it’s all the typical bunk and hogwash.

However, in their defense I will say they pulled of a feat or two that I can’t explain off hand and I scratched my head at a bit. Nothing to get excited about, and given ample time and research I could explain them, but I watched this thing they called "the bug Zapper" during a live fire test and another toy they called a "Perambulator" (I think that's correct, they didn’t give me a tourist pamphlet to take with me) and it "appeared" to have made a short jump on their testing range. Easily the highlights of their "dinner and show" production.

But when it was all said and done, I found their outfit well established and very thorough (and much more responsible to their cause and beliefs than many of the upstarts and over exaggerators this forum tends to showcase). I even made a private donation/investment under that annoying clause from my inheritance I've discussed before (hopefully becoming an investor will get me the details on those odd toys and figure out how they managed to fool me) and I enjoyed my stay immensely.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a report to file on debunking the mysteries of “Cosmo’s Mystery House” up in South Dakota, but I’ll sum it up for you in three words… “TRICKERY, TRICKERY, TRICKERY!!!”

Debunker you are a grand example of a NEGA , by your own statement
you don't know how they did some of the things you saw and yet you still
say it must be a trick. Skeptsism is a good thing at times can keep ones
mind open to other possibilites and keep one from making grave errors,
but sometimes you have to accept you may be dealing with the real thing.
I do not fault you it's who you are it is your nature to doubt as it is mine to
seek.

Here we go with this nega crap again. In an attempt to dismiss me off as some kinda of cynical or depressive nut on the forum, you label me as some kinda gifted being who disrupts the flow of the magical world as we know it.

I know for a FACT I am not some nega-psychic powered fool, and I know because I know the very notion of psychic abilities is pure hoaxing and carnival trickery!

Sure, I may not be able to explain how the toys did what they did, but that does NOT mean its anything supernatural related! At best they are prototypes of advanced science I dont recognize as of yet. But one day I will understand them and how they work, and not because they are powered or activated through mystical energies.

There is a quote I like because it is so annoyingly acruate "Truth is a triple
edged sword." The meaning of this is in any serach for the truth there is one opinion the opposeing opinion and in between the unblemished truth.
Basicly when you go looking for truth you bring your own ideas and baggage
and that can color your veiws,I have done this myself but endevor to go beyond that trap it never hurts to try to look at something from a differant
point of veiw .Good way to stay out of to much trouble just something to think about.

Wanna add some color to the point of view? Try mine out, if its got sharper teeth, more limbs or legs, more eyes, more strength, more bad attitude, and just plain more supernatural than I am (I'm a hottie physical pychic ass kicking chica dont cha know?) then I pummel it into whatever goo, slime, bugs, dust, they discorporate into.

BTW, I dont like to use the word "discorporate", it sounds so technical minded, and the things I've beaten to a bloody pulpy death dont deserve such recegnition and prestige of being given technical thought. I like to think of it as "showing their true colors before they return from whatever hell they crawled out of". Ya know Shadowstalker, when it comes down to it, it really is all about the color when it comes to our views. I like a man with a great view :wink:

It' all right I can run on, another bad habit. Partly Because I have had the unpleasant job of telling familys that a person they cared about ... Sorry Just rembering why notification was my more unpleasent tasks on the job. Damn like I said a bad habit I will try to be more straight to the point. I've been asked to look into something see you in a few days. Oh by the way Huntress how about vanished Or better still Banished both work quite well.It would I think be a experience to hunt with you, till later I wish you all well.

Well, I didn't expect a miracle conversion, but the fact that I've got you [Debunker] scratching your head is promising enough.

Yes, I'm back but I won't have regular access to the Society board for some time. I have to spend some private time with the family, especially the Missus and then get to work sorting out everything we've done. Thankfully, this last trip was relatively safe. No damage to the Mark IV or any injuries to the crew.

Now it's time for me to head out. The wife is ordering Thai food and I can already hear the Sinatra music on the phone...
