Coming back!

Post by A. Pendragon »

Problems in Britain are dealt with. I am coming back to the states. Am I needed to make a pitstop somewhere before I head back to Chicagoland area?

Things have been fairly quiet around here. I take it that things went alright over in Britain?

Quiet? I see that several friends are dead! What is so damn quiet about that?

Hannah, thanx for the kind words. Unfortunately things didnt go well. People died. Some good people died. Bad people died as well. I was hurt for a bit. Somethings changed. I dont see things the same.

Pendragon, I apologize if I offended you. I have not forgotten the many that have been killed this month. What I meant by quiet is the relative silence that has fallen here recently. The Gentleman, dym, The Dark Voice, and Del Morte seem to have gone silent.

But to be honest, I feel like this is just the eye of the hurricane so to speak.

I am back in the states. Back in bloomingdale. Not far from where Josh use to live. I guess no one to have a BBQ with.

Who needs to be killed?

Well tip a pint to the boys that scouted for the 7th armored the next time you are in a real pub. Pulled my ass outa the fire in morocco, egypt, and all over that god forsaken desert. Ah well, we made the rat run till he couldn't run any more. Wish he hada been on our side.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but are you talking about Rommel? If so, may I ask exactly how old are you sir?

That was one name for him, it was in fact "The Dessert Fox" that he was knowen by. But some people were less kind in their names for him.

I have been around a bit, missed kickin the jerries in the jimmies the first time around by 5 years, the recruiter laughed at me and said I was too little, the second time around, I wasn't quite out of high school, recruiter didn't laugh that time just made me wheel my dad in to sign some papers. Dad spent a lot of time in a chair after what the krauts did to him, said he didn't approve but that if I was man enough to fight him about joining, I was man enough to fight jerries and meatballs.

Might not have got any medals, but at least I brought dad back some souvineers, I bet he had the largest collection of mostly intact german ww2 helmets in the country, I musta been mailing him 1-6 a week the whole time I was gone. At least he smiled again when I got home.

Been hunting and killing men since '43, and it don't look like I'm gonna stop soon.

Pendragon, let me know if there's anything you need. I owe you for the help with Hannah. If I wasn't runnin' undercover when you went over I would have come to your aid. That and Her ajesty would have to grant me access to the country.

I would have liked to help as well but I was dealing with somethings already, and then I had to deal with the plan.

Um Kolya, am I to take it from this post that either you are presently, or maybe will be soon in the states yourself?

Ron, I will keep your offer in mind. I will probably need the help. I left Britain to come back here. I thought you guys needed my help. Turns out your deaths were thankfully false. I left enough breadcrumbs in Britain for the Cult of Night/Dark/ Ba'al to follow me here to the states. This way if I NEED help, you guys can come a runnin'!

If I can spare the time, I'll gladly sweep your six chap. Let me know when things may get hairy, I am normally free to travel on a moment's notice.

Well the goal of the entire Gentleman saga was to lay traps - perhaps we can use your breadcrumbs to do the same Pendragon.
