That makes me angry, and when Ron Caliburn gets angry Mr. Fluffers gets upset. And when Mr. Fluffers gets upset, people DIE!

Duke and Mr. Fluffers

What, isn't my strength and agility enough for you, Ben? Are my abilities suddenly of no worth?

You have so many issues there don't you Holister. Also little point Celeste is trying to not drink human blood anymore if possible. Or at least that was what I thought I understood?

Oh knock it off. So what. Fine I admit to it, I like Celeste,
big deal. She's an attractive, energetic, intelligent, and passionate young woman. What's wrong with that?

And I will car bomb the first of you with a smart ass response :D

Fine she is all that She just also happens to be Undead. One of a very rare type I admit, but she herself has reservations about a relationship. And Ben you do come off very pushy as it were.

She's undead, oohhhhh. Big deal. I know her well enough to yes, I do in fact like her, regardless of that fact, and maybe if more people treated her like a human being instead of some "thing" she wouldn't have to feel so alone.

I know what that feels like.

You do realize you are talking to one of the other people that thinks of her as a person and a friend, and not a thing that should be watched to see when she slips up don't you. NITWIT!

I am not trying to give you a hard time, I just know how touchy this subject is. If you were to be bitten by her, I think all bets would be off. To me, and probably a few others on here, that would be a sign that she is not trying to reclaim/redeem herself.

I don't hold any malice towards Celeste, in fact I am not sure what to think of her. My training tells me that she is a vampire and needs to be put down, but my faith is all about redemption. If there is a chance to redeem the person that once was/is Celeste Darken, then she must have that chance. If she shows that she doesn't want that chance, then as I said all bets are off.

Cleste has been living on borrowed (or perhaps stolen) time since she met Boraz, and I'm sure she would agree.

A vampire doing its best not to drink human bloo and trying to help us protect humanity is pretty far down on my list of priorities.

But if she changes, my priorities might change too.

If a demon can look for, and find redemption (long story), so can the undead. I have never met Celeste, but I from what i've read, she does seem to be a genuine crusader for good.

Oh, and Ron, there's nothing wrong with letting your cat be the brains of the operation  .

It's a long uphill battle - and if she slips she may kill an innocent.

I prefer not to take the chance of an innocent dieing because I thought a vampire might make it to Heaven.

Ron, are you sure you and Azrael are not related. You two sound exactly alike.

As I said it once, I will say it again, I am Cee's flak jacket. To get to her, you gotta get through me first.
After tonight, I have not a doubt in my mind, not a doubt in my heart, that she is more human than most humans I know.

Holister is not alone.

As for the threat of her coninued exixtance, show me proof. I will then give her the oportunity to defend herself against the claims.

Seriously, what wrong did she ever do you? Since Americans killed so many of my people, innocents as well as soldiers (actually more of the former), by your logic should I not be seeking the death of everyone between DC and LA? It is a dangerous game to condemn someone for what "their kind" has done. Never forget, no matter what part of humanity you are a part of "your kind" has been guilty of things too horrible to bear remembering for long.
Understanding, is not a thing that comes swiftly, but rather in stages, a journey that once begun, must be seen to it's end.

1. She's a vampire and as a vampire has killed innocent people.

2. While she is experimenting with a new diet, she has admitted that she craves human blood and that craving is sometimes nearly uncontrolable.

3. Since she won't die of old age or disease, she has hundred if not thousands of years that she may act out on this craving.

It doesn't mean that she can't be redeemed.

While she is experimenting with a new diet, she has admitted that she craves human blood and that craving is sometimes nearly uncontrolable.

And yet she is still able to control herself, an amazing act of willpower.

Since she won't die of old age or disease, she has hundred if not thousands of years that she may act out on this craving.

This also means that she has a long time in which to make up for any mistakes she might make. It's not the falling down that matters, its the getting back up and walking the right path agian that counts.

Forgive me if I sound too confrontational, I haven't been in a fight in months and I fear I'm letting off some of that steam here on the forums.
