That depends upon your preferences. Tblisi is probably the closest embassy and by the far to most pro-American place around. However, that is in Georgia (the country not the State). Tblisi and Moscow basically want to rip each other's throats out so I am not sure how close I can get you to Tblisi.Bert_the_Turtle wrote:So, any idea when it'll be safe for me to make it to the embassy?
Getting you to Moscow will of course be easier as we remain inside the Russian Federation. However, that is very far away. Fortunately we have an airport nearby. I am working on getting you a flight for tomorrow to Moscow. But no one on my team can go with you as we gear up for a weekend of Saving the World.
We may be able to get an American embassy person to meet you at the airport. It is hard to get a hold of a real decision maker there... most people I talk do not have the authority or think I am playing a joke.
So either after this weekend when we can guarantee passage or risk it and leave tomorrow.
