A warning . . .?

I have no gift for breaking codes. But . . . well . . . I get a sense of a . . . a warning when I try to read this. For whom or against whom, I cannot say, though.

Looks liek a simple substitution code to me.

12 1 19 20 - 4 1 25 - 10 21 12 25 a g 20 8.

L A S T - D A Y - J U L Y 1 7 T H.

I don't have time to go through the whole message right now but that should help.

I know this is going to shock people, but I think I know what he's saying, and it's not really good. Someone needs to find him soon, or he's a goner.

Well that certainly helps Ron . . . thanks. I think he’s . . .

Goodbye, Ben. I hope to be able to . . . that is, I . . . .

Ben . . . this may sound weird, but you’ll understand if you have been reading the posts. Send it to Ron. He’ll see that it is delivered.

I decoded it this morning, but the "July" had me stumped because of the 29

So, what are these things? Anyone know?

Yes, I believe I do.

Ok. Mind sharing?

Also, if anyone wants I'll send them the decoded messages.

Well, the package is rather personal, if it’s what I think it is. I get a strong reading that Ben doesn’t want us to follow him.

I thought as much.

I was hoping you could tell us what the threat actually was.

If you got the decode Turtle, best dish - some of us don't have the time to spend playing spy.

It talks about the Harbingers and a threat that they could pose.

Yeah, I was wondering what the hell those were.

Anybody understand the bit about the Crimson King?

Must be the "he" that is referenced several times.

Harbingers? Bad guys have such original names.

The dwarf said he was a harbinger, but I doubt they're connected... If they were, things would be too easy. We'd just have to ignore them until they exploded. XD

OK, that just brought the strangest image I've ever had into my head now.

Thoughts of exploding dwarves are kind of strange. Though nobody would miss the dwarf in question.

Depends what he is standing next to when he explodes - the little feller wanted attention so much so I expect it's aplace we wouldn't want him.

You're right...

Hey, if he comes back, we could all pretend really hard to like Khavik. Maybe he'd accidentally do us a favor. =P 2 for the price of 1!

Could we get that lucky?

I can dream...

by Shadowstalker
Yes you can, just watch out for whatever may try to walk through them.

Maybe, maybe not.

So exactly what is the "he" that we are preparing for?

Posted: Mon Jul 09, 2007 3:15 pm
by Shadowstalker
That as they say " IS THE BIG QUESTION?"

 My bad.

Nothing like a completely vague and cryptic message to start your morning.

No kidding.

"Good morning. I'm in terrible danger that may kill me, and I can't or won't tell you exactly what it is so you can't help. Coffee?"

Crimson King

No thanks. I don’t drink coffee.

Actually, Ben just wants to keep us safe. But I think he is not entirely sure who the Crimson King is, either.
