Re: Memorial BBQ & Lazlo Retreat at Cypress Cove Anex

Oh, geez, does anyone else think that... *ahem* Those guys that shot Holister last time came to finish the job? I'd need to see more details, but the rundown sounds like when that Ivy league professor was abducted and murdered...

Re: What to get Mr. Greydawn for his birthday?

Long time no see, Soph!

Ehm, Doesn't Mr. Greydawn frequent the boards himself?

Anyway, gifts SHOULD be personalized, and even though I don't know Mr. Greydawn that well, I'm sure you're familiar enough with him to make an excellent choice if you give it some thought. G'luck, kid!

New Layout

The new layout is really nice, albeit rather dark. Rather fitting, I suppose. Pendragon, you responsible for this? It looks great! Ehm, just one thing, though... How can we tell which posts we haven't read yet, save glancing at the date and time of posts? That little red page made sifting through t...

"Tomorrow is not guaranteed." As my astronomy professor liked to say. How terrible. It's almost like she prophesied his disappearance. Be well. Until we hear something, though, There's not much we can do, save for checking his house. I'd heard he had one, but does anyone know where it is?

You seem to have been pretty damn close, Ron. In the past weeks, we've made a small series of arrests for arson and connections to this cult - and yes, we have confirmed that the cause of the burnings are for vengeful and religious purposes. The biggest reason they haven't been more loud about thei...

Re: Frankly Konrad, I’m just glad he’s posting it at all . .

What is this, a Day in the Life of Ron Caliburn? Frankly Konrad, I’m just glad he’s posting Saturday at all. Ron could be holding his spleen and not tell me anything about his night other than, “It was rough a night.” I trust him enough to not get suspicious when I smell another woman’s perfume, bu...

Until public education as to the existence of supernatural threats to society is increased, unfortunate things such as that will continue to be the way of things. The fact that everyone who had been working at this station before a certain date agrees that there's much, MUCH more to this world than...

Yes, Logos was tried as an accomplice to "my crimes". None of it held water. Logos was there to sniff out a man who's dodged his parole officer, on a tipoff. It's on police records. The rest of us got a distress signal from Logos over a personal radio device. Communications WERE handled i...

No supernatural powers that we can see, though someone's welcome to check them out if they happen to be in the area. They generally operate using ordinary household items, making the tracking of their weaponry nearly impossible. Another two have been apprehended, and arresting officers are under cl...

Yeah, that's been troublesome in of itself. We don't have any specifics on it, yet, but we know it's an organization of terrorists, apparently composed of local men, based solely on who we've apprehended so far. We're still investigating further into the situation, you can bet on it.

Arson Gang

After the arrest of the arsonist we believed to be responsible for the crimes perpetrated in our area, things quieted down for a week or so. Yesterday, a man was arrested for attempting to ignite the gas tank on a squad vehicle in the neighboring station's parking lot. Today, the arresting officer ...

You're absolutely right, Ron, Ethan... At this point, the best I could have hoped for was a successful plea to self-defense - under tort-law, assault is defined as any action which brings to another a fear of theirs or another's well being. The records must show that he was armed, and forensics wou...

Point of contention between Logos and I. Angel, though there are those churches that would have you believe that god's word is in fact not one of love, at least, not for those who do not fall into certain categories. Many churches, do, in fact, preach love for the most part, but what if those churc...

My greatest regret is how mechanically I responded to simply hearing that voice again. My handgun was out in an instant, my suture needle was quickly lost to the filthy carpet. "Jeremiah, what the *ahem* hell are you doing here? Haven't you *ahem!* done enough already?" " Oh, no, Zac...

Alright, alright. I want to know what he was talking about, too, but he DID just save someone's life, so I think we can at least give him the benefit of the doubt until he gets back to us on that.
